View Full Version : The Beast Sports Nutrition is looking for 2 more reps.
-MBS-
10-23-2007, 06:34 PM
We're looking to add up to 2 more reps in the near future. We're really interested in seeing the following:
- Good knowledge of the board and the rules of the board.
- Ability to work with others through email, phone calls, PMs, etc.
- Knowledge about our current line, or demonstration of the desire to learn about our line.
- No mindless repping (I don't want to see any of you telling a 15 year old that starting an Anabolic Activator cycle would be good for them.)
- Some sort of background in bodybuilding or athletics (not professional or anything, just want someone that's been lifting for a awhile, or playing their sport for a while.)
If you're still considering yourself qualified and interested, answer these questions in reply to the thread.
How many hours are you on the boards per week?
Do you feel you have the knowledge to answer basic supplement questions?
How old are you?
Any previous repping experience?
Logs?
Are your current bodybuilding goals comparable to the line of supplements we offer?
Are you really passionate about being a representative of the Beast Sports Nutrition?
This opportunity isn't a handout and should be looked at as a job. You won't be paid for your position, but you will be compensated with the following:
- A starter set of our entire line of supplements. (With the exception of AmphetaLean, I haven't received it so I don't think it's being sent out as a compensation yet.)
- When you use up your supplements in a realistic fashion (i.e. You don't request more anabolic activator the day after you get it.) you will be able to get more of it.
-The ability to represent a great company like The Beast Sports Nutrition.
I have no timeline in mind as to when the deadline to submit your application is, because who knows how quick, or how long, it will be before we find the two applicants who are right for the job?
Good luck to everyone, and I hope to see you on the team soon.

How many hours are you on the boards per week? Roughly 3-4 everyday
Do you feel you have the knowledge to answer basic supplement questions? I feel that i have a strong background in supplement knowledge, in my downtime when im not working out or at school i spend it researching products and new workout methods. I am also preparing to become a personal trainer and training for my first contest so i can get my natural pro card in 2 years.
How old are you? 21 years old
Any previous repping experience? Not on bb.com, but locally yes
Logs? I tend to keep track of my workouts, body weight and stats, as well as my lifting stats.
Are your current bodybuilding goals comparable to the line of supplements we offer?: I believe my goals fit in well with your companies line of supplements, as your products are exactley what i need to get ready for my first contest in the summer of 2008.
Are you really passionate about being a representative of the Beast Sports Nutrition? I believe that Beast Sports is an underated company among some of the bigger names out there that just focus on selling products and dont worry about the consumers needs. Most companies now a days will try to sell anything and arnt really price friendly either i terms of what you get(ie. 15 day supply for 80 dollars of Nitric oxide). This is where i feel your company is different and is something that people on this board and in the bodybuilding company could use compared to some of the products out there

Either way, good luck in your search.

Looks like a good opportunity from a good company. I am interested so lets answer some of these questions...
How many hours are you on the boards per week?
Well right now that is a tough call. I am currently deployed and can not always get on. But if I had to give a for sure number, I would say 14 hours or so. When I return to the states in January I will be on an average of 25+ hours a week.
Do you feel you have the knowledge to answer basic supplement questions?
Yes I do. Not only have I taken many but for the past year and a half all I did was work night shift. And on that shift all I did was read and search supplement information.
How old are you?
22
Any previous repping experience?
None. Never really been interested in being a company rep until recently.

Are your current bodybuilding goals comparable to the line of supplements we offer?
Yes... I am looking to gain size and strength. Test boosters, fat burners, and stimulants are my friends :)
In all seriousness, I think every Beast Sports Nutrition Product would be able to find a nice fit into my everyday life...
Are you really passionate about being a representative of the Beast Sports Nutrition?
Passionate is an understatement. I am into not only the supplement industry but the bodybuilding community as a whole. I might not be the best or the biggest but that is certainly what I strive to be.
Earlier this year I wanted to do something for the bodybuilding world and the member of Bodybuilding.Com so I started the Online Bodybuilding Federation. After our first competition was a success we launched our second, which is underway and about to end. Over $850 in supplements and prizes are being awarded to the competitors thanks to my VP, George F., who I brought in to help me run the OBF in a smooth way. So I think it is safe to say that not only am I into this industry... But I do whatever I can to see it grow and help it mature in a positive and motivational way...
I would be a passionate rep... Because I am passionate in all I do.
As for my sports background
I started playing football when I was a little kid, 3rd grade I believe. I played, and started, every year until I hyperextended my left knee in 8th grade. My freshman and sophmore years I sat out. Then when I returned as a junior I was in a Varsity starting spot (OL) within two weeks. I played for the durration of high school and received many letters to come to division 3 schools. However, due to no scholorships I did not attend college and joined the Air Force...
A little over a year ago I got the itch to return to the field. I went to try out for a professional arena team (independent) based in Wichita, KS. I made it to the last round of tryouts and was then cut. I went on to play Minor League Football for the Kansas Cougars in the Central Football League last season. I started at center and sometimes stepped in as tackle on the offensive line when needed.
After the season was over I recieved a phone call. It was to come and step in for an arena game against the pro team that cut me. I went, dressed, and played a series in the game. It was one of the best experiances of my life...
This year I will miss the pro tryouts due to my deployment. However, I am currently looking into a position with the pro team as help for throughout the season. I will not be playing minor league due to some politics and issues with ownership. I have not intrested in playing for crooks, plain and simple. The plan is to continue to grow in size and strength and come in for the '09 tryouts big and hard. I want to make that team...
I also played baseball for 8 years throughout high school but it was not as big as football for me. I also have a year of wrestling (amateur) under my belt.
My main ficus right now though is my family, job, and lifting. I love being in the gym, beating my lifts, and just hanging out with myself and 'getting away'...
Goals
275+ Lbs at 13% BF or less
20"+ arms
18"+ Calfs
Repping 300+ on bench (Currently repping 275 with a 300 max)
Nothing big right? lol...
I appreciate the opportunity to apply and wish everyone luck.

I want to point out that I asked for applications to be put into the thread as a reply, and while PMing me your application won't hurt you, it won't help you either.
On top of that though, if you only PM me and don't post in the thread, you won't be considered for the position. This keeps things easier for me as while things are in the thread they are easy to keep track of.
So far all sample requests have been sent on to Rudy and should be sent out soon. I reply to the requests when I get a chance, but I don't get a chance to respond to them all.
As for testing/logging/repping PMs, like I said, I don't mind them, but I prefer they go in the topics that I created for them.

I have been a member of these forums for roughly three years. I have a reputable name, and people know/trust me when I give opinions and advice.
I have competed in both powerlifting and olympic lifting, and now train for strongman/olympic with a mix of bodybuilding.
I have been around "so to speak" when it comes to supplements. I have worked with various supplement companies in the past, have run (and then sold) my own small supplement company, and am currently creating another businesses in which I will be mixing dietary supplements into another well known product category that I can't really disclose. I can say that it is really no threat to the dietary supplement industry. I will not be competing in this market.
I am on the forums 2-4 hours a day, being helpful and answering questions. I haven't tried any of your products yet, but I just ordered some 2 shredded. I would put as much time as required in order to fully understand your supplement line and I would LOVE, and I repeat, LOVE, to help design new products. I have helped many many friends design products and then produce them. All the way from pre workout protein/energy blends, to joint support formulas.
I am 19, and a college student. I am studying entrepreneurship. I have started three companies in my short life time, and have the experience needed to help make you grow into the most reputable and recognized supplement company.
I know the in's and out of supplements, so answering questions would be no problem. I have run various logs for USP, AX, IBE, etc etc etc. I don't save them, unfortunately. Your product line looks fantastic, and I could definetely see myself using AA, Super Test, and amp quite frequently.
Let me add that I have done some fitness modeling in the past, and could (if needed) to some shoots for the company. Whether it be for BB or for power/olympic lifting. I'm sitting at 205-210 in the 9-10% bf area and can hit a good pose
Let me know if there is any other information that could be of assistance in deciding.

How many hours are you on the boards per week?
I have become a very common visitor on these boards as of late. I never really ventured to these forums for years. I've been a member at BB.com since 2004. However, I am on the boards a few hours everyday at anytime. I have constant internet access because of my cellphone and I use this to my advantage whenever I have the chance to.
Do you feel you have the knowledge to answer basic supplement questions?
I feel that I could answer more than just basic supplement questions as I have been working in a supplement retail store since Febuary 2005, at the age of 16. I learned alot prior to my employment and continue to broaden my knowledge of supplements and also training phlosophies.
How old are you? I am 18, but turn 19 on November 15th.
Any previous repping experience?
I have not been an online rep before. This is a new and challenging experience I would like to take part in. However, I have been doing something of the sort with my current employment in the health and supplement industry.
Logs?
I just started this log today and this is my very first.

Are your current bodybuilding goals comparable to the line of supplements we offer?
I would have to say yes. I have played ice hockey since I was 8 years old. I played on many travel teams and my local high school team. After graduationg this year I am now playing college club hockey at Delta College in Michigan. We practice every Tuesday and Thursday at 6:30am and also have 1 or 2 games every weekend. This leaves little time for the gym, but I try to go once or twice a week. I am utilizing whole body workouts in order to hit every muscle group at least once a week in case I dont have time for the second trip due to work, hockey, or school. I am looking for supplements to help with my hockey performance, allow for lean muscle gain, provide me with energy to make it through my toughest days, and help me cut down if needed to increase my percentage of functional weight. I am already a fan of the creatine and nitric oxide products and have been trying as many as possible so 2 Pumped is right up my alley. Also the Anabolic Activator would be good for me because of my goals and need to get the most of each trip to the gym. 2 Shredded could be used as an energy supplement or more consistantly for a fat loss product to aid in my goals. A test booster is never a bad thing since it helps to give me the "fire" I need to be as aggressive as possible at all times on the ice. They also increase strength which allows me to win more battles in the corner for loose pucks. Overall I feel I would use the entire line of products you offer and they would all have their own benefits to help me in my competative hockey career.
Are you really passionate about being a representative of the Beast Sports Nutrition?
I have been passionate about nutrition and supplements since the age of 13 or 14 when I began to workout and read information on supplements. I have worked in the industry and know much about current trends and most of all, I enjoy what I do. It would be great to be a rep for Beast Sports because I am already familiar with your products and have always thought that your products were "legit" and encorporated ingredients that are proven and effective. I would love to be a part of such a great operation and your company because I know your stuff will work and that makes it easy to rep, and enjoy the time spent. Thank you for any consideration in your decision.

We're looking to add up to 2 more reps in the near future. We're really interested in seeing the following:

Good luck to everyone, and I hope to see you on the team soon.
- How many hours are you on the boards per week? Since joining bodybuilding.com, I'm physically on the board perusing for information no less than 3 hours per day.
- Do you feel you have the knowledge to answer basic supplement questions? With my multiple magazine subscriptions (Men's Health, FLEX, Muscle & Fitness and Fitness Rx) to enhance my knowledge of supplements in general and know the reasons why, when and how much of a certain supplement you should take, I feel that I have sufficient know-how to answer basic questions. I also am very open to continuing education through member's opinions, personal trial and error and professional advice.
- How old are you? 28 years old, as of May 30
- Any previous repping experience? No sir/ma'am. However, because I am fairly new to the boards should not necessarily disqualify me from becoming a rep with your company. I take every opportunity hitting the ground running, constantly seeking information on a product and giving people information that is most important pertaining to what they are seeking.
- Logs? http://blog.bodybuilding.com/leth2k
- Are your current bodybuilding goals comparable to the line of supplements we offer? Yes they are. I currently train my body 6 days a week, 3 hours per day (2 hours lifting, 1 hour cardio) with my off day being Sunday each week. I eat completely clean every day. I am at a stage in my life that I realize that while I am superior in the secular job that I peform in the retail industry, I can only be viewed as good as the person above me wants me to be percieved. With the right supplements in hand to accentuate the insane workout schedule that I adhere to, I feel that I can be competition ready by the age of 30, which would land me right on track with what my goal is. I feel being a representative of this company will make me not only dedicated to supporting the supplements that they put their name on, but also an inspiration to others as they work to be the best they can be.
- Are you really passionate about being a representative of the Beast Sports Nutrition? I have natural passion about everything I do in life, PERIOD! Having a company that I can back up that helps me be the best I can be only aids me into being passionate about Beast Sports Nutrition and the products they serve to the bodybuilding community. I would take the consideration of making me a rep not only as a great honor, but as fuel to help me get to the next level and also help someone who is just starting in this lifestyle realize their true potential, along with giving very thoughtfelt and researched advice.

Application:
Beast Sports Nutrition:
I would first like to thank you and your company for the opportunity to represent your company as a bodybuilding.com representative. After using several of your products and seeing the direction and vision of Rudy and Micah I know this company is on the right direction of more success. Your company looks to be a very exciting, innovative company which I would love to help grow. Though I have not been a bodybuilding.com forum member for as long as others and have no supplement company representative experience I believe I can be an asset to your company. I bring a solid background of educational and business experience as shown through my many internships and current Master?s of Business Administration workload. I believe this brings a dynamic perspective to providing advice and help to forum members. I am very creative and driven which will help your company with board presence to capture market share. Since joining, I have created a great relationship and learned a great deal from many of the forum members. I currently spend between 3-4 hours a day searching the forums to provide assistance and advice to aspiring forum members. I would be able to spend comparable time as a representative for your company. Throughout my years in this lifestyle, I have taken an array of supplements and tried many innovative diets and weight training techniques. I believe this, along with my business experience, would complement your company perfectly. I have provided a set of links to my recent logs (current/past).
Thank you again for the opportunity and thank you for taking the time to read my application. I hope to see from you soon.
Sincerely,
Josh

After taking time to talk it over and getting support from fellow board members, I have decided this opportunity was a perfect fit for my goals and aspirations.
__________________________________________________ ___________
Sincerely,
Josh

How many hours are you on the boards per week?
5-10 hours
Do you feel you have the knowledge to answer basic supplement questions?
Yes, I feel I have the knowledge to answer basic supplement questions. I have used all of the different catagories of supplements available throughout my 14 years of lifting (from Pro-hormones, test boosters, creatine, and to the many fad supplements that have come and gone). It has allowed me to build up a good knowledge base, which is continually growing. I have been able to use my sport supplement knowledge to help educate my many athletes (I have 16 college lax players currently playing in college who I train over college breaks and over the summer).
I also have a Masters in Sports Management, as well as a Bachelors in Elementary Education and High School Education with certification in Social Studies. I am the head jv basketball coach as well as the head Varsity Lacrosse coach.
How old are you?
34 years old
Any previous repping experience?
I have given advice on this board as well as been PM'd for advice. I specifically have spent many hours on this board trying to help people, just as others have helped me. I don't have formal training or experience, just a passion for lifting weights, health and a desire to give honest and helpful advice. I am a hardworking individual that will do my best to help others.
Logs?
I have a log on another site for Lean Extreme 2.0. I also may be running a log for a fat loss company as well.
Are your current bodybuilding goals comparable to the line of supplements we offer?
Yes, Beast Sports Nutrition is a company that seems to be ready to become more focused in offering top quality supplements to dedicated bodybuilders and sport enthusiasts. This transformation is one that I too am dedicated to. I recently underwent my transformation as I quit smoking and dropped 24 pounds. You could say I found the Beast in me (see bodyspace). I am dedicated to my new healthy lifestyle as lift 4 days a week and my cardio sessions are also 3-4 days a week. Besides for lifting, the key to a transformation has been clean eating and the basics. They have been instrumental in my changes.
As your company looks to expand on bb.com, you need an individual that is dedicated to represent your company as it deserves. That individual is me! I am highly educated, responsible, very knowledgeable about weight lifting, supplements as well as sports training. Whenever I undertake a task, I go at it 100% with a passion and desire as there is no word as failure in my vocabulary.
Are you really passionate about being a representative of the Beast Sports Nutrition?
If you select me, you will get an individual that is looking to grow with your company. I can promise to be a positive representative for Beast Sports Nutrition on this board, just as I am in the classroom and on the field. I will apply my energy and passion to grow as a person and a profession.

Again, this is one of the finest members that I've had communications with. Professional, knowledgable, dependable...constantly learning and improving, and just a nice guy in general. If you select him, you will NOT be dissapointed, and if I owned my own supplement company I would hire him in a second.
He's also had a lot of success which I give him a lot of respect and credit for...a lot of fat loss, plus the loss of a bad habit (smoking)...he's dedicated and in it for the long haul.

How many hours are you on the boards per week?
I am on the bb.com boards around 30+ Hours per week, however constantly checking in, When I wake up until I go to work, after work, and then for a while before I go to bed, so I check the forums at least 3 times per day and has access to my email 24/7 through my cell phone.
Do you feel you have the knowledge to answer basic supplement questions?
Yes, I have studied and used supplements for over a year now since intially purchasing NO-Xplode. I am familiar with all types of creatine, amino acids (BCAA/EAA), varying types of proteins (casein, egg, whey, soy), Pre workout products, post workout products, intra workout products, Multivitamins, and pretty much any other non-hormonal supplement. I am currently studying kinesiology and learning how exactly these supplements effect us, through the applications of actual proven science. I know how my body works and how supplements should work, when combined with proper diet and exercise.

Are your current bodybuilding goals comparable to the line of supplements we offer?
With any bodybuilding regime there is the underlying goal of lowest possible body fat percentage to highest possible LBM ratio. With that said, Yes during a cut, the use of stimulant thermogenics, and other energy supplements help me further my body fat loss goals. The Beast line has plenty of room for expansion, and if given this rep position I would seek to expand Beast's product line into developing or marketing other products that I and others, could utilize to achieve bodybuilding goals.
Are you really passionate about being a representative of the Beast Sports Nutrition?
Very much so. For anyone that knows me on these boards I am VERY passionate about supplements and the bodybuilding lifestyle. There is way too much bull**** that takes place, way too much shameless pimping, way too much misinformation. This is my first rep application because I feel now after a year of serious learning/experience, paired with almost 8 months on the boards, I am ready to take on a job like this. I am a NO BULL type of person and know what I am talking about. I am very determined and will not settle for crap, when I take on a project or job I follow through 110% and will not be content until whatever particular goal has been achieved.
also, I am a certified NFPT trainer and also train mma for cross training aside from lifting. I have been lifting for 5 years. Also knowledgeable in photoshop, ms office, and am availible for contact through aol instant messenger, MSN, and email.
Thank you very much for consideration.

I will respond by saying that I did apply for two positions. I guess it is apparent that I do want to spend time sharing my knowledge helping people out on bb.com. The reason I applied here for the position at Beast is obvious in my application. I am an honest hardworking man with knowledge about lifting and sports supplements to share and I applied here at Beast becuase I have used their products. They can check to see my response on bb.com about Amphetalean.
As far as Zach commenting on my behalf, it is because he feels I would do a good job. Plain and simple. Zach does a great job helping others on this board. I know he has helped me out and I would like to be able to help others as he does. There is absolutely no reason for Rambo or anyone else questioning Zach about his comments. End of story on that.
Beast, I would like to be part of your team! Sorry for the drama Rambo created.

I do want to mention that one thing that I require for the reps that we choose is to follow the guidelines set forth by the mod in this section. The most important one for me is the no bashing rule.
I cannot comment on everybody else way of conducting themselves on the forum, but as reps for The Beast, I expect professionalism and courtesy both to fellow reps and to other forum members.

Through out my 8 hour work day I pop into the forums about 8 times. I work in the computer field so unless there is something broke I am pretty much on here all day. Might say I am addicted to the BB sport and realated materials.
Do you feel you have the knowledge to answer basic supplement questions?
Every supplement that I have ever used I have spent days researching it down to the last chemical compound, so the answer would be yes defenitly.
How old are you?
I feel like I am 18, but I am actually 35.
Any previous repping experience?
No, but I have worked in the customer service field for 9 years

Instead of answering this question Yes or No, I will let you be the Judge of that. Short term goals:Over come a stand still in my lifting stats, break the 300 bench and the 400 squat. Long term goals:Compete in an amature natural class BB contest after my 36th birthday.
Are you really passionate about being a representative of the Beast Sports Nutrition?
Passionate about any type of work I am selected for, you maybe representing a company, but your professionalism and skills are on display for all to see.
I am on AIM all day long, for work and helping out IT Techs in other companies.
I would also like to take this time to thank you for this opportunity and taking the time to review this application.

With all of the solid applications we have in so far, the selection process is already going to be very tough. Because of this, it has become my decision that the deadline for application will be midnight EASTERN time tonight. Then the selection process will truly begin, hopefully with all applicants finding out who is selected by sometime early next week.
The deadline for applications is SOLID and FINAL, but the deadline for selection is more FLEXIBLE and I will not be rushing to make a decision. Adding two more reps to the company and boards is a big decision, and I will take as much time as I feel I need to make sure I make the best selection.
Good luck to everyone, and to all of those who haven't applied and are considering it, you have until midnight TONIGHT.

Better jump on 2Pumped now. It's being discontinued (taste isn't great) but right now it's in stock and buy 1 get 1 free!

I have tried 2Shredded in past (split with brother)and was pleased. I was most pleased by the loss of fat. I lost about 3 pounds (half bottle), with obvious cut effect. The other product I have tried is 2Pumped, which I got great pumps from. I have always been a responder to NO products and I really got great pumps and vascularity. Great deal with buy one get one free in BB.com store. I can't wait to see what product they come out with next. Especially with the quality of Amphetalean.
BigTomCat, if you haven't tried Amphetalean, give that a try. I got a sample and it rocks. Great clean energy, no crash or jitters and really did a nice job on the appetite. Nice thing is lasted for a good amount of time.

Yeah it def. looks like a nice stim/fatburner. I'll have to check it out, anything that helps me get my 4pack back while keepin my arms above 20" is a big help.

Well forge3 repped me, plus some other reps, so ive gotten a few hundred in the past couple days. Something about being in San Diego, having to evacuate... Some are sympathetic, and it's well appreciated.

How many hours are you on the boards per week? I am on my mobile constantly, hence the post format. I browse at school, home and work.
Do you feel you have the knowledge to answer basic supplement questions? Absolutely, and the desire to help!
How old are you? 18 almost 19.
Any previous repping experience? None, I am eager to gain experience though.

I wouldn't have asked for logs if I wasn't going to look at them. I haven't reviewed every post from every person that applied, but I've browsed to see what type of things people are posting, what boards they frequent, etc.
Also, applications after the deadline won't be considered, but we still have a picture contest and a tester selection thread open ( 1 til next week, 1 for 2 weeks) that you should check out.

I apologize for taking this long to welcome our two new representatives, but I was away from my computer for most of the day.
I want to congratulate and welcome to The Beast Sports Nutrition both 2425 and ksujosh6. I further want to thank them for accepting the position we offered them.
I understand that both of them had considered the same position with another company, but as with anything in a professional life, decisions are made based on consentual agreements between two parties.
The Beast Sports Nutrition, MBSowards and I know that 2425 and ksujosh6 will help bring awareness to our line of products and help us with a better customer service experience.
Their knowledge and experience will also help The Beast Sports Nutrition further the line of products.
Again, welcome and thank you for choosing The Beast Sports Nutrition.
