I was wondering if anyone could suggest a few websites that would discuss the biomechanics of the snatch. I've looked all over the web, and have come across some websites, but none that are in enough detail...
I have to a project for my kiniseology class. The project basically involves explaining the biomechanics of a movement, in my case, the snatch. I need a website that discuss things like Newtons Laws (such as inertia) and things such as ground force reaction.......
I was hoping some people here could help....
Thxs for any help you guys give

Look around here. It isn't very direct, but you can learn from different articles.

I would recommend reading John Garhammer's published papers on the olympic lifts. He is a well known biomechanist. See his page here: http://www.csulb.edu/~atlastwl/JGselectedPubs.html

Excellent reference. Thank you. Especially considering that I lost a great deal of data during a recent move.
Not only did I rep you, I will do so everytime I think about it until Christmas.

Good. Then you should rep him too, along with everyone else who reads this. Garhammer is the man.
To SLecontev: I also have not had time to track down a bunch of research by Mike Stone, any good links?
