View Full Version : Tricep questions..and hammer curls on a preacher curl??? need help plz!

Do u think it is possilbe to do hammer curls on a preacher curl or would it not hit the bicep as well as an ordinary hammer curl? And another question.... do reverse grip French Presses hit the lateral head tricep better? And could some one possibly tell me some good tricep exercises that really hit the lateral heads good. I would appreciate it. Thanks

you can do hammers on a preacher bench... sweet!!!... done these before and this will allow you to do almost perfect form... instead of sitting facing the preacher pad... sit so you are parallel to it and dig your arm pit into the pad and perform the lift parallel to the pad!

so you have done these before?SO does it give you the same pump as the regular style??

Most deffinetly!!!... I found them better due to the fact that you can isolate the exercise w/o using the delt to cheat!

sweet! i'll have to try it sometime. Dont hammer curls peak the bicep too?

i use the hammer bar to target my joints more than my biceps to ur joints get the major attention on these and do them slowly

I never did hammer curls on a preacher curl. I prefer doing them standing up. As for trricep exercises theres close grips, pressdowns, overhead extensions, even dumbbell kickbacks.
