ive had two knee surgeries in the past year and i have a lot fo scar tissue built up in my knee, i was wondering if anyone knew certain techniques or exercises that break up internal scar tissue?

How do you know there is scar tissue??
What rehab you done??

the only thing to get rid of it is ask your doc to inject a certain steroid to the scar tissue (yes serious) and over a period of 3 weeks it will break it up, also massaging it daily will break it up but it takes a year+

i had a meniscus repair, that didnt heal so they went back in and removed it.

IMHO, it would appear to be beneficial to have this conversation with the Orthopedic Surgeon who performed the surgery to remove the meniscus.

both times i had physical therapy 3 times a week, and that was basically to get the strength back. at my very last PT session, they hooked some probes up to my knee and it was like shock therapy ro somthing like that and it was to break up the scar tissue, but that was only once.

So you didn't get a full range of movement back at any time??
