I know I need to choose dry carbs but how can I tell which meats to eat? On the "day before the day of", when I cut my water out completely, obviously I can't have protein shakes, right? I need to choose the right high protein meats instead. I have some USDA choice beef chuck burgers with vidalia onions, would they be alright? The have 320 cal., 19g's of protein but 28g's of fat (9 sat.). My cut off day is tomorrow so I need help fast. Also, would milk be a good idea or NO LIQUIDS AT ALL?

I don't worry to much about protein the last few days... if you haven't built the muscle by then you won't in the last few days either. I do however eat some steak and other fatty foods for fat loading.

I have cut out the dairy. I just wonder how I'm going to make it through a whole day without anything to drink (rice cakes are pretty damn dry). This is my first time prepping so I'm not completely sure of how it go's. I need to do more research next time on what TO (and what not to) eat.

You should have been asking more questions earlier then this. Rice cakes are not the best, they are processed. Old fashion oats, dextrose, brown rice, should be one of the few only sources of your carbs...you should have also been only drinking water the whole diet with shakes or by self.
If the cut off line to enter is tomorrow, enter it. Even if you dont get EVERYTHING right the first time, you will get HUGE experience and wont regret your decision.

I have been drinking water by the 50 gallon drum and pissing like a Russian race horse while slowly tapering off until today (1 gallon today until 9:00p.m.) I did the sodium and carb-up and have started taking a diuretic today. The only thing I have a question about is what to eat the day before the day of, when I can't have any liquids (it's supposed to be around 90 degrees and humid ,,,,,,,,YIPPEEEEEEE) I guess if it's just for one day I will just go to the butcher in the A.M. and get some fresh hacked chicken boobs and have some low sodium green beans with them. You can't go wrong with some sweet potatoes and brown rice with those chicken breast. When I did my show those are the only carbs I ate, except for my crap meal about 3 hours before pre-judging......that is when I had pancakes slathered in natural peanut butter, dipped in syrup. Best damn thing I put in my mouth in 3 months. Of course the candy bar 30 minutes before I went on wasn't bad either.
Believe me when you get to the show you will see people eating all kinds of crap........raisonettes, M&M's, honey, straight jelly from the squirt bottle. Hell I even saw one dude eating freakin cracker jacks!!
The first 24 hours after your last depletion workout it's a good idea to consume simple carbs......that is why I wait until after weigh-in to start carbing up. After eating cookies and several rice cakes with PB before the night show, my muscle were full and I was vascular as hell. Wish I would have done that before pre-judging, missed my peak by about 4 hours. You don't need 3 days to carbs up.
