I have a cable machine that I use for tricep push downs and lat pulls. The slide is dry and creating too much resistance for movement to be consistent.
Any ideas on what to grease the slide with?

My smith machine came with a spray labeled "silicon lubricant".
I used it on my lat pull down machine and it is very right now.

Give it a good spray with some WD 40 that should do the trick.

Make some bacon and after you are finished cooking it, collect the grease in a small spray container and spray it on the slide.
