Ok, I've posted a link to my journal so I don't have to repost everything ... I need help with my diet. Not that it's bad .. but this past week, I'm so damn hungry it's not even funny! Do I need to add more?! I will eat my meals and get full, but about 30 minutes to an hour later I'm hungry again. But I don't eat then, I wait until it's been at least 2-3 hours. I will start eating, and work as hard as I can to finish what I eat, and I get full rather quickly. Sometimes it's work finishing it because I get full. But then ... of course 45 minutes or less I'm hungry again!
Help please!

Ninja-sometimes people mistake digestion of their food for hunger pains.I have felt that same way before guilty but it helps if you tell yourself that your stomach is digesting the food you just ate and it is not true hunger(in most cases anyway if you have eaten a meal sufficient in calories and not high glycemic).Drink some water and wait it out.If after 2 hours you are starving then make sure you are eating a big enough meal to satisfy you.

Oh, yeah it's hunger pains. Not digestion. I've been drinking water and waiting them out, but it doesn't go away. I know these are hunger pains. At the moment I am getting a little over 1600 calories. I am guessing I should raise that.

Not sure of what your macros are, but maybe you should be adding a little more good fat to keep you going. I know if I eat very low fat meals I feel hungry about 45mins-1hour later, but if I include a little good fat (olive oil, a few nuts etc) I feel fuller for longer. Also make sure you are eating enough protein vs carbs per meal too. If you meals are low fat, and mostly are carbs (even "good" carbs) your body will react too.
On the good side, it could be that your metabolism has kicked into gear.

I always make sure to have more protein than carbs and of course fat. All fats come from "good" fats.

They look good! Maybe add in some more fibre??? I know that I need to have at least 20 grams fibre per day to feel fully satisfied. If you cannot have more fibre in your diet from natural products, you could add in some metamucil about 30mins before your meal as it helps with lowering the glycemic response of the food and the psyllium husk actually thickens and will give you that feeling of fullness. Just an idea. Otherwise, maybe increase your food intake by about 150-200 per day??? Good luck!

Thanks for the advice! :)
I will try that and see if that helps. If not, I will try adding more calories. Permission to eat more?! OK!!! :D
