Im just curious as to what would be considered a competitive lift in university? Something that would place me:
1st in most meets?
top 10 in State?
1st in state?
I hope to be doing near 400 C/J by the end of the highschool year

That should help you. You would have to look up a particular state. They are all different.

A 400 lb. clean and jerk would do it. What can you lift now?

I'd expect at least a couple years assuming you gain a lot of weight. You have to have good genetics to clean and jerk 400 at any age and weight, really. It sounds like you do, though, if you are already doing 300 at your age and size.

I hope you're joking when you say you're planning on gaining anything if you actually think you'll be able to while near max cleaning everyday. Clean and jerks are pretty taxing on the CNS, period. Really heavy ones are even worse. And doing them everyday?? Not a good idea last time I checked. I'd say doing them 3 times a week would be plenty. And even then, you shouldn't do all the days heavy. $.02
Nice weight though. Just be smart with you're training and you could go far. Getting over zealous won't help you any.

The top 94kg lifter in Canada C&Js about 400 (181kg), so if you're already doing that at 17 - I'd say you'll do damn well at the university level.
