I'm about one month in the Anabolic/Metabolic Diet as written about by Dr. Mario Dipasquale.

The shift in my eating habits was odd. After years of thinking "lean" meats, the idea of shopping with total disregard to the cut was really weird. But I having actually come to enjoy regular beef and cheeses (I almost never ate cheese).

Other than the meat & cheese, I have some broccoli and/or califlower with one meal a day. I take a multi twice a day.

I also utilize "carb timing", meaning though I keep my carbs under 100 grams a day (way under), when I do have them I do it after the workout. I know I've stayed in Keto because my pee and breath still stink. :P

My workouts are mostly compound movements at this point since they help trigger testosterone. I do isolation exercises once a week.

I "carb load" on weekend. Even loading I eat clean...mostly wheats, rice, etc. I don't even like sugars. I'm having such an easy time during the week I almost have a hard time on the weekend loosening the restrictions!

The results:

Sorry, no BF percentages...but the other results show it's dropped.

My bodyweight has actually gone up from 211-214 lbs.

My waist has gone down a half an inch from 39 - 38 1/2

Here's the kickers (my extra 3 lbs!)

My chest went from 45.5-45.75

arms are 16.5- 16.75

shoulders are 52.5- 53.75

So to me, it looks like bf went down (smaller waist) and lean mass went up (increased measurement upper body).

I'm extremely satisfied so far with this diet and the results I've gotten. The only supps taken are ECA and protein.

Its crazy, thats why I always say ignore the scale. Fitting a pair of jeans or shirts is the best way to confirm fat lost. I just came from the gap and I purchase a size 38" and 36" pair of jeans because my 40" jeans where to big. I bought the 38" to wear as my size, and the 36" for my goal fat loss. To my suprise I'm able to fit the 36" waist, its snug, but my fat ass fits it :) So if 36" jeans become looser, I know that I lost bf. So my jeans size went down from a 46" to 38".

Good Luck on your Journey :) Lets throw out our scales !

Lets throw out our scales !

I actually don't own a scale! The only way I know how much I weigh is because I go to visit my mother every few weeks and I step on hers.
People get too obsessed with "weight" when there's a scale around. We all know muscle weighs more, and if you guys are like me them according to all the charts and BMI then I'm obese :rolls eyes: I rather go by look. Hell I look nice and muscular other than a little lovehandle, so I'm cool!

Thanks for the well wishes.
