Ok I am a football player, and I'm hooked on OL lifts. This is how I was planning to workout:

Monday:
Full snatches
Power Cleans
Front Squats
Good Mornings

Wednesday:
Bench press
A chest exercise (not too heavy)
Lat pulldowns
Biceps

Friday:
Power Snatches
Full Cleans
Back Squats
Close Grip Bench (light)
Abs

I've been training with a similiar workout for a couple of weeks and I seem to be doing fine but I was just wondering if you have any opinions?

A few questions as well: Have I forgotten someting I should add in? And is this good for a football player? I probably wont build too much muscle with this but I?m pretty happy with my size and I mostly want to improve strength and explosiveness.

It's definitely one of the better layouts I've seen. However other factors like reps, sets and weight cycling need to be taken into account. You could gain plenty of size if you manage those things well. Same thing for strength gains. If you follow the typical lifting scheme of giving 110% all the time, it won't do much of anything for you.

Thanks

Regarding weight progression etc: I try to change things from time to time.
For example if I power cleans, one week I can do heavy singles only and work up to a hevy 1rm. Next week I can do 2-4 reps on 80% rm. Except for bench I don?t follow any progression scheme but I try to change it up between workouts.
