Introduction:

I was given the opportunty to test Blue Rhino by controlled labs by receiving 1 full bottle of product (Lot # 0503162 EXP 03/08). I am in no way associate with the company and will give an unbias review. Feel free to ask question or make suggestions at any time, lets all learn together.

-------------Stats---------------

Age:30
Weight as of 11am 4/23/05 = 190 lbs.
Height = 6 ft 0 inches
Lifting experience = Started in high school. 15 years on and off. On solid the last six years.

Cycle type over the last 2 months:
At maintaince or slightly below to cut up for summer. Lost about 8 lbs. I'm happy but would like to be stronger.

Weight variance: 236lbs in 2000, 169 lbs in summer 2004.

BF: No data, I can see 4 abs clearly and the making of the bottom 2 in the morning. The mirror will be my compass.

--------Supplements Currently used----------

Current supplements:
WPI- mainly for post and pre workout
WPC- mornings or occasionally during the day
Micellar Casien blends- pre-bed shake or sometimes I just eat salmon or tuna.
MRP's- use VPX's MRP occasionally.
Fish oil - aim for 3 g of total epa/dha per day taken immediately before meals
Multi-vitamin - 2 x workout days morning and night, 1 x non workout days morning
Green Tea - 2 caps per day of lean green
Hemp Seed Oil and Udo's Choice oil - Used to make sure I hit my 40/40/20.

and of course Blue Rhino, I changed my mind and I'm going to start with 2 caps per workout as recommended. This with be my pre-workout energy booster.

Pre-workout shake - 25 g of WPI with 30g of ground oats. I will take 2 caps of Blue Rhino with this (Tank, is this the best way to go or should this be taken on an empty stomach?)

Post-workout shake - 40g of WPI with 60g of ground oats.

------Supplement history--------

No Pro-Hormone, Pro-Steriod or Anabolic Steriod use. Used creatine a while back and it worked well.

Natural test boosters

Biotest's Tribex older version- noticed very little. Used 1 full bottle as recommended. Maybe dropped my voice tone a little but otherwise no noticable increase in strenght, size, or anything else.

Protein Factory's Unleashed- noticed very little. Used 1 full bottle as recommended. Maybe got morning wood 2 times over the course of the bottle.

---------Diet-----------

I'll start at maintance cals and bump up 100 or so cals per week. Diet will then be adjusted according to adipose gain. Taking 6mg of Yohimbine everyday might make it hard for me to gain weight. 1 or 2 high carb days per week (usually around chest workouts). Approx 40C/40P/20F ratio. I eat extremely clean, eat salmon or mackerel or trout EOD (or tuna). I eat about every 2-2.5 hrs I am awake. I'm a carb junkie (brown rice, sweet potatoes, and oats, oats, oats).

--------Training-----------

Chest/abs
Legs including SL dead lifts
Back and tri's
Shoulders and bi's

Cardio will be done low intensity upon waking on a empty stomach 1 or 2 days per week depending on my adipose gain rate.

-------Comments----------

I don't know what to expect, I'm just going to train hard as hell and take the product as recommended. Lets see what happens.

Opened the bottle, product smells and looks just like the original tribex. Let's hope it works much better.

I will start tomorrow since I didn't receive the product until I got back from the gym today. Legs for sure, possibly some light AM cardio if I wake up early enough. Ideal situation for the use of a pre-workout energy booster like this.

---Nutrition today.

After AM cardio I had this shake:

25g of All whites Pasteurized liquid egg whites
22g of WPC
12oz of skim milk

Didn't have time to fit another whole foods meal in before my workout because the gym closes early on sundays.

took 2 caps of Blue Rhino (BR) about 10 minutes before my preworkout shake (22 g of WPI and 30 g of ground oats in 16 oz of water).

Post-workout
45g of WPI + 60g of ground oats with 16oz water.

Ball busting legs workout. I hadn't done legs in a while, and I'm sure its going to be tough to sit on the toilet tomorrow. Usually wouldn't have gotten this good of a workout with so little food before hand but I had 5 days of rest (last thursday to last monday) last weekend for a bachelor part trip to Mexico and I think it really helped rejuvenate me.

Supplement observations-
Nice little bump pre-workout. Not as jittery as I would have thought for 6mg of Y. Still feel a little jittery 2 hrs latter however. During the week I'm going to try to get this in before 5pm so as I'm not awake all night. Way to early to say much.

Usually after legs I take a day of rest. Not sure what I'm going to do yet, I'll decide later.

192lbs this morning. Just a little weight variation.

45 min of AM light cardio because I woke up at 5:45am and had to piss. Legs are sore and back is sore from a workout on saturday so today will probably be a good day for a rest day. I'll still take 2 BR when I get home from work @5pm.

Chest and abs. Not a spectular workout as far as raw power, but I did go deep into the workout with good energy.

Didn't sleep well last night (or the day before), not sure if it was because of BR or if I had things on my mind. I'll be a able to draw a conclusion on that in a couple of days.

After spending the majority of this year based in time under tension type training methods (exception shoulders), I'm moving more towards classic high weight low rep style to build some raw power. Hopefully this supplement with help with strength gains (that and a gradual increase in carbs).

I'm still going to stay away from the ultimate strength gaining foods (cheeseburgers).

I'm thinking shoulders today.
I ate like a horse too after my workout and also stepped on the scale and actually dropped a couple of lbs. And I know what you mean about aggression, Ive been feeling a bit irritable myself.

As for the weight loss, I'm wondering if that is due to the relatively high dose of Yohimbine in it. Only time will tell I guess.

Yeah, irritable is a better word for it. I should really stay away from traffic jams for a while, until I learn to deal with this irritiability a little better.

191 lbs today. It'll be a rest day, except for moving a heavy azz sony triniton tv. I'll take 2 BR @ ~4:30pm.

Cheat meal also planned for today. I have one every friday usually. I'll continue to eat as much as I can stomach, so tomorrow will be a more interesting weight measurement.

Good back workout. I'm going to do heavy squats tomorrow so I didn't want to kill my abs. Just 3 sets of hanging leg raises at the end of the workout. Going to a party tonight so I'll continue to eat like a mad man.

191 lbs today. Thinking heavy azz ball busting legs workout.

1 week summary- nothing to report on the body building aspects but I still imagine it is too early. Other than that, occasional morning wood, maybe a slight increase in libido (it's always pretty high), a moderate to high increase in irritability and I'm tending to be a bit more aggressive with the ladies even without alcohol (normally I'm fairly reserved). First signs of acne are starting to appear on my face.

sounds good, this is a pretty lean bulking product because of the caffeine and yohimbe,s o you should gain some total pounds but you will also lose a bit of bodyfat and look more defined.

OK Tank, that's what I was kind of thinking. Thanks for the knowledge. I'm eating a ton (~500g of low GI carbs and ~100g of fat per workout day or 5 days per week) and I'm very sure I'm not gaining any bodyfat.

I would suggest taking half the dose int he mroning and the other half 30 minutes before your workout. Hope that helps bro.

Thanks Tank, always good to have advice from the man himself. I'll move to that if I can't resolve the sleep problem soon. First I'm going to try taking them at 4pm, and catching an early workout 45 minutes later. Sound good? That should give 6-7 hours before bed which should be a big help.

Just a couple more observations.

Appetite is increased. I had to eat 9 meals today instead of 8. Actually feeling hungry again and not having to force meals down. To explain better here is my eating schedule, to the nearest half hour:

7:30-8am
9:30-10am
11:30-12noon
2:30-3pm
5-5:30pm
7-7:30pm
8-8:30pm
10-10:30pm

I snook one in at 9:30-9:45pm (previous meal was at 8:15) today because I was hungry. Working out used to make me very hungry all the time years ago, maybe this supplement is helping bring that back.

The 9:30-10am meal used to be a challenge because I wasn't hungry, but no problem lately.

Voice might have dropped a little. This has been noticed by fellow employees.

Thinking about sex more, and getting morning wood pretty commonly now.

Feeling more self confident and I'm less inclined to put up with BS, even from my boss at work or other high level managers.

I'm going out tomorrow night to a bar to celebrate a friends b-day, and I'll be asking for another girls phone number who will be there. I just feel less inhibited and restricted, and I not really afraid of rejection like I have been in the recent past.

Feeling a little more moody today. Like descriptions I read of people on Clomid. A friend told me a story about a women and her son and some bad things that were happening to them, and it got to me a little more than it usually would have.

Just some observations, not sure if they mean anything.

OK legs workout.

Still feeling the effects of this cold or flu or whatever the hell. Might make a doctors appt tomorrow if it continues. Fever, fatigue, congestion. Sucks because it is nice out.

Noticing increased adipose gain in the abdominal region. Hopefully it isn't an increased estrogen response to the BR. Might need to make some adjustments to the diet shortly. Odd because weight is down.

Tomorrow rest day.

Viral infection and also symptoms of a bacterial infection. Tylenol 3 X per day, and pound tons of water. Got a script for anti-botics if symptoms persist past 36 hours. Got a note for 2 days off work.

Doctor said to stop working out because of dehydration.

Going to have to drop BR due to diuretics for a few days until this thing clears. I don't see how this could be related to BR in anyway.

Hey, same thing here. Got some sort of bug that wreaked havoc on my intestines. Couldn't lift yesterday and feel so damn weak today that i doubt that i will get to the gym today. I am sure my weight is down also. Avoiding food other than toast or oatmeal for a day to see if that helps. Anything else just goes right thru me. This sucks!

Sorry to hear that bro. My doc suggested drinking tons of fluids to flush this thing out, so I'm shooting for over 3 gallons of water today. Maybe that would help you too.

OK chest workout. Early workout strength was up 1 rep.

To warm up for chest I do 2 warm-up sets every time as follows
135 lbs never count, just to stretch out
225 lbs, do it till I feel some resistance.

Last week it was 8, this week is was 9.

Then starts time under tension training, so the numbers don't mean as much.

Late workout strength wasn't very good, but maybe related to last weeks illness.

Definition appears to be improved since starting BR, but I would expect this when taking 6 mg of Yohimbine every day.

Appetite is increased, maybe due to BR, placebo, or due to a change in short term calorie intake.

Mental focus, drive to be doing something productive seems to be increased. Always have to be doing something.

Acne is a bit increased as of late, but no big deal though.

Noticing and receiving comments regarding positive changes in body composition. Possibly looking more muscular and defined. I'm eating more and not gaining fat (could be due to Yohimbine content).

Yes, I'm taking them on non-workout days. With this kind of supplement I would think that would be a good idea.

Sometimes I forget when I take pills, I may have accidently taken 4 per day a couple of times. Also, I'm pretty sure I started before you.

Im thinking I should have taken it on non w/o days too. Ive been feeling really down on non workout days and I think its from not taking the BR. Im afraid of how Im going to feel after BR. Im not planning on taking any type of PCT, how about you?

I was thinking it would work best, from a test boosting standpoint, to use everyday. Theoretically, that would help with recovery and anti-catabolism on off days.

No PCT planned, I would only do that if I was using a synthetic form of test.

Feeling down on non workout days could be due to the stimulants, meaning lack there of. Cycling off stimulants can be tough. Y might be a MAO inhibitor.

I'll run my log out a few days after I'm done to report on conditions post use.

Been sitting at 188.5 lbs the last 2 days. Feeling some lower back pain from some heavy lifting around the house so I've had to take some rest. Final comments comming up.

Non-body building observations:

Libido was definately up the entire Blue Rhino run. I had not noticed this on any of the other products of this type I had tried (Protein factory's Unleashed or Biotest's Orginal version of Tribex). For this alone I would recommend purchasing it.

Aggression was also through the roof which was also not noticed on the other products. Things like traffic conjestion or people bumping into me in bars seemed to get on my nerves alot more. This lead to a small incident a few weekends ago.

Self confidence was definately up.

Motivation or drive seemed to be significantly increased.

I did seem to notice some increased shedding on this run. A few more hairs on the bottom of the shower than normal.

On the last few days before I was done, I noticed some testicular discomfort. I'm not sure if this can be attributed to BR however.

I'm not sure if this has anything to do with anything, but I layed out in the sun for a few hours a couple of weeks back and I seemed to retain my tan much longer than normal.

Body Building type observations-

Possible minor improvements in body composition or how I look in the mirror. Nothing incredible, but I would think that would required about a solid 8-12 week run for that to happen anyway.

Minor strength increases, no where near the magnitude of past creatine use.

Overall conclusions-
Overall positive experience. I believe I did actually feel effects of increased test levels and felt like a bit of a different person.
