I thought I would get this post started since Matt was kind enough to provide me with a bottle for testing. I won't start taking Power Jolt until Sunday because I'm working for ten hours tomorrow... Although, if Matt preferred, I could try taking the Jolt during work to give me some energy since I'm on my feet for basically the entire time and tend to run low on energy during the second half of my shift. If you can, let me know by then Matt.

I'm currently on the second half of my cutting phase. I have 3-4 weeks left. I have been off of ECY for a couple weeks but enjoyed the results mostly.

I'm weighing 165 in the morning at ~11% bodyfat. Lifting four days a week, cardio five days a week.

Current Supps:
ON 100% Whey
Fish Oil Caps
ON Multi
Vit C
Homemade ZMA
Vit B Complex
Muscle Milk occasionally
BCAAs

Matt, would you like me to post my weight and reps for my workouts or can I post a summary?

On second though, I think I will actually start half a dose of Power Jolt tomorrow before/during work.

Thanks again Matt!

I ended up not taking Power Jolt Saturday while working.

Yesterday was leg day and I took 4 caps about twenty minutes before working out. I'm hesitant to say energy was up, but I definitely felt an intense focus during my sets. The feeling was nothing like EC/ECY. Instead, I felt a sustained "up" and experienced good mental clarity, if that makes sense.

I just took four caps about fifteen minutes ago and am going to lift right now. Today is chest and tris.

Today was chest and tris. I took the Power Jolt about twenty minutes before lifting and felt different effects than yesterday. I definitely felt an increase in energy this time although I still had a little trouble pushing myself as hard as possible through this workout. Focus was still there but seemed to be to a lesser extent.

Overall, the Jolt felt much better today.

HOnestly, I may have to rename the product. It is not giving the "power jolt style kick in the pants" I anticapated, but it is giving a super clean, laser like focus. So as it stands now, it is a bit misleading, and I apologize for that, but I suppose that is what the testing is for.

So if anyone has any alternate names, I am down for suggestions.

Man, you were up early yesterday Matt!

Anyways, yesterday was an off day for lifting but was a cardio day.

Jolt was taken 20 minutes before my back/bis workout today. The most substantial effect (perhaps only substantial effect to the point of noticeability) is an elevated mood/slight energy increase, which is primarily evident after lifting... Commonly after lifting, I'm a lazy bastard and just sit down with my PWO meal and do nothing. My workouts have remained the same and I'm no longer completely drained 5-10 minutes after my workouts anymore. This is a great sign, especially considering that I'm cutting.

I don't want to make any effects sound like they are greatly profound, because they really aren't yet.

My weight has been consistently down one pound for the last several weeks, and I may begin to add a couple hundred calories to slow that down... Just my personal preference.

During my workout today, lifts stayed the same as last week in everything but pullups, which were up. Nothing exciting but exactly as expected.

That's about all I have to add... Next up is shoulders, traps, and abs.

Hmm, at your weight I would have bet it would be working better for you. Do you normally have a high tolerance for stims?

IN any event, if you dont see some results in the way of ability to easily increase weights in the next 1-2 workouts, you may want to bump it up to 6 caps just for kicks.

On a side note, I am still open to suggestions for a new name. I really do not want to be misleading with the Power Jolt. Maybe something along the lnes that will suit the products extreme focus or something? Im not too creative wit hthis stuff...

For being a lightweight, yes I think I do have a pretty good tolerance for stimulants.

My plan is to eat less in my pre-workout meal and spread that meal farther apart from when I lift. The cals I'm taking out pre-WO will be added into my post-WO meal and those other meals afterwards.

Oh another thing... Initial comments in my log, like in all others, aren't able to truly guage the efficacy of supplements IMO. More time is needed... So don't worry.

Today was cardio with no lifting.

Sorry for waiting a few days to update. I was extremely busy this entire weekend but got cardio in on Friday and Saturday and did shoulders, traps, and abs on Saturday too. I have comments from my journal which I will copy onto here.

I'm nearing the end of my cut, with only two or three weeks left. Workouts are becoming noticeably harder - as in they were more mentally draining than anything - to complete before starting the Power Jolt, but I have noticed an increased determination allowing me to push myself through my workouts since starting. Weights have stayed relatively the same, and I'm slightly varying my workouts from week to week. Looking at my workout times, I noticed that I have been working slightly faster throughout them, with a decrease of about five minutes in my most recent workout compared to before I started Power Jolt. I didn't notice this until today.

As expected, Power Jolt doesn't give the huge rush of a stimulant stack like ECY. I still have a lot of time to go and am undecided on whether or not I think Power Jolt is a worthwhile cutting supplement... I'm interested to see how it will work for my when I'm bulking.

After cutting I'm going to start a 5x5 routine and will keep doing the Power Jolt then. I will likely increase my dosage to 5 or 6 caps when I feel it is needed later this week.

Today was a rest day. I got a lot of sleep last night AND took a big nap today... Feels great.

Finals are coming up at the end of this week and next week... I have a couple 8 AM finals and am NOT use to waking up that early, so I will be experimenting with the Power Jolt to see how it works in that effect.

Thanks for the opportunity so far, Matt.

Sorry for waiting a few days to update.

Monday was legs and today was chest and tris.

On Monday I took 4 caps 15 minutes before lifting. For some reason, the effects seemed much more profound this workout. Energy was noticeably up, which was a change from the norm, and focus was also up. This leg workout was the best I have had in the last several weeks... I was driven through the entire workout and increased weight on two exercises.

Today was chest and tris, and it didn't go as well. The last two nights have been late nights because of finals and some end of the semester work, so lack of sleep may be the cause. Weights were done in three exercises and the workout was TOUGH... Time to eat more.

Blitz!

How about that for the name, Matt? Did you decide on a name yet?.. Surge?... Or is that already used by another company?

Back and bis today. One of the best workouts I have ever had in my life... I don't know how, especially considering I'm cutting, but it was amazing. I've been weary of saying this product gives you a "focus" because that is not a great way to describe it... I tend to lean more towards "endurance". I blew through my workout today and pushed through some weights getting extra reps on nearly every exercise compared to last week. I have definitely started to feel Power Jolt more lately. I like the clean feeling it gives, unlike EC.

Blitz....I likey! I was thinking Locked In, but I could go either way.

But I am glad your workouts are going better. Are you doing anything differently? Taking the Jolt with more water or anything like that?

I take it the weights are starting to get lighter as well?

"Locked In"... Lol, that is really corny. I would definitely NOT go with that! :)

There are two factors which have changed in the last week, besides having been getting less sleep. One, I am having my pre-workout meal longer before my workout and thus my stomach is a little more empty. Second, I haven't been doing as much cardio this week... I've cut back a little on it. Both of those factors don't seem like they would cause a change, but I'll stay aware for any changes I may think of.

I defiantly hope things keep improving for you...I might just make a believer out of you yet. ;)
