What you need:
1 pot
2lb Chicken Breast or Thigh Meat
3 quarts water
1 bag spinach (Fresh kind you can use for salads)
16oz. Bottle of Heavy Whipping Cream
4 Tbsp. Butter
Garlic Powder, Parsley, Salt (to taste)
-First, bring 3 quarts of water to a rolling boil. Cut chicken into bit-sized strips and dump into boiling water.
-Boil chicken until cooked, reduce water until about an inch has evaporated.
-Dump spinach into soup and mix, let boil for approx. 2 mins.
-Reduce heat to simmer, add bottle of Heavy Cream, add 4 tbsp. butter- stir
-Season to taste, after seasoned let simmer for 5 mins to get the flavor all throughout.
-Let it cool off (ouch!) and enjoy!
You can add any other veggies you want to this or even create your own. Canned soups have sugars in them, this is a great way to enjoy something warm in your belly!
