I've just recently been getting into o-lifting and learning how to use hook grip.

The other day I missed a snatch and dumped it in front of myself while in the dipped overhead position(it wasn't a lot of wieght-95lbs- as I'm just learning the form and getting comfortable squatting with wieght over my head) but it screwed my wrist up a bit because I didn't let go in time.

So, now to continue training while I ice my wrist down, I'm considering some wrist wraps, and just using them while traning in general.

Does anyone else use them regularly?

When I started my wrists would get sore from the clean. I just used Ace wraps to keep them warm. It seemed to help a little.

I like them on heavy jerks when my wrists are sore from cleans, but I don't think you'll need them on snatches or if you're doing cleans by themselves.

When I was doing the snatch, it was at a commercial gym and you're not allowed to drip barbells, which is why I'm starting to train at an o-lifting gym.

But once I get my form up, I'm definitely going to learn to how to drop the wieghts properly.
