We are all a bunch of testosterone-driven sports fans. we tailgate. we wear our jerseys. we watch our teams. lets share our sports opinions with each other.
1. why is everyone so down on rex grossman? its like a popular thing to bash on rex, even though essentially he was a rookie last year. first year starter that took his team to a superbowl, i dont' get it.
2. scrambling quarterbacks are never going to win anything. seriously, everyone in houston is so pro vince young and i dont understand why. tell me a running quarterback ( non-pocket qb ) that has won anything. if you look at football history, they are not very successful. this is one of the big reasons that im down on vy.
3. dear carolina panthers fans,
sorry, but david carr is crap and will always be crap. some panthers pundit came on houston radio and said, "david is a guy that you can build a franchise around". TELL ME HOW!!! we tried that for about 5 years in houston and see where that got us.

am i the only one that doesn't give two ****s about the patriots "cheating" scandal. i dont' and the reason is that (quote me on this) every single team in the NFL does it too. there are some sort of scouts stealing signs, wether it be someone in the stands or someone on ur sidelines. its happening.

firstly, the giant injuries
http://www.uploadhouse.com/fileuploads/478/478190ec138253743646136a6d48d7cdc449ca.jpg
brandon jacobs tearing a mcl and eli manning seperating his shoulder. brandon isn't on any of my teams, but eli is. actually, i started leinart instead of eli on my pay league (that was a smart move...). it only cost me 30 points. so now my qb is hurt, even though they say he might play next week, he's at least a week away from being healthy again
wr performance

i was betting on a bounce back year, but 30+ rushing yards isn't really a good start

i know it may be a little early, but with the absence of charlie frye and the overall crapnicity of derek anderson, Brady Quinn should be the starter in Cleveland

its looking that way
plus with a reciever like jerry rice i dont really consider young as a scrambling qb because of all the time that he spent inside the pocket. roger could run (i.e. elway), but he wasnt run first type (by that i mean: vick, culpepper, mcnabb to an extent). i would compare roger to an alex smith

In a 1988 game, the scrambling southpaw shredded the Minnesota Vikings for a 49-yard, game-winning touchdown run. He started the game out with a 73-yard touchdown pass to John Taylor, after Montana went down with an injury. The scramble for the game-winning score was highlighted by announcer Lon Simmons's reaction, "Young, back to throw, in trouble. He's going to be sacked. No, gets away...He runs...Gets away again! Goes to the 40...Gets away again! To the 35, cuts back at the 30! To the 20...the 15...the 10! He dives! Touchdown 49ers! Young is exhausted! He stumbled as he got to the 2. He could barely move. He dived into the end zone, and the 49ers have taken the lead with 1:58. A 49-yard touchdown run by Steve Young." Simmons stated later, "You won't see many better runs in your life than that.
Young was famous for his ability to "scramble" away from the pass rush. He holds the record for most career rushing touchdowns by a quarterback, 43
guess you can't consider steve young a scrambling qb.

being a huge sooner fan im pulling for peterson. So far it looks good. I think peterson will do a lot more running then reggie bush since it looks like the saints made him more of a specialty player. I think peterson will have a great future as long as the injury bug stays away from him.

personally, i wouldnt call a guy who averaged 25 yards per game a scrambling quarterback.
he had the ability to run, but he was a pass-first passer. thats' my point.
i like bush alot, but i really wish that the texans could have pulled peterson in this past draft. im really thinking that he will have a healthier/longer/more productive career

so every single one of the record breaking sacks was carr's fault?

of course not all of those sacks. honestly, at least half of them were. he plays scared, and if you ever get a chance to see him play, you will see that. he holds on to the ball way too long. its hard to put argue that it was the O-Line when we are playing this season with the same line we had last year.
