I've been out for a week already now and its just not healing, my wrist cracks really loud when i put preasure on it, it even hurts just to open a door, i think i got it from barbell benching but i'm not sure, there was no bad form with my grip, and it doesn't feel like its going to heal for ages, any one know what it could be?

Could be a sprain. Is there swelling? The doctor will probably x-ray to see if there is a fracture of some kind. Are you putting ice on it? Do you have it splinted untill your seen by a doctor?

There is minimal swelling, and i'm doing no other things you said, it doesnt hurt when i move it normally, like when im typing this it doesn't hurt but when it comes to putting preasure on it or moving it in certain ways, like opening a door handle it gives me pain.

When I sprained my wrist, the first thing my doctor did was x-ray my wrist. He said he was looking for a fracture in the the bone because there was some moderate swelling, just in case. He said sometimes a small (micro) fracture can happen and it won't show up immediately in an x-ray. There was no fracture. He had me ice it, gave me some stuff for the pain which I never took, and had me wear a splint on my wrist for a few weeks. A year later, i still wear a wrist wrap when I lift. I never want to go through that again. good luck.

Whats a splint may i ask? is it a wrist strap?

i have had the same thing for the last 6 months, but i injured it during a hockey game (landed awkwardly), i took a month off from lifting (vacation) and when i came back it was much much better, just give it some time to rest.

So what makes it painful? Turning the door handle or puling the door open?
Any particular exercsie or position??

Any noticeable swelling??

Does it crack and feel like it was a bit locked or just a crack?

Any grinding sensation??

A particular part of the wrist?
