As to your question... based on past experience, if you order some and the package is inspected by customs, it WILL be confiscated. Of that there is no doubt. You can still take your chances if you want but don't be surprised to get a letter from customs instead of your order.

Hey Thud thanks for the reply. I have recieved several orders from bb.com i have been lucky i guess all my ph's deliveries have arrived unchecked all others like vitamins and such have arrived with a ' opened by customs on them '. Was looking at placing some more orders but might go with what i have got.
I used to workout at Zest body club for a couple of years, membership has expired so I am looking for a Gym at the moment I live in Gosnells probably moving soon though. I am gearing up for a cycle starting October 5th. Wouldn't call my self a bodybuilder by any stretch of the imagination I am 26 years old 5'10, 150lb, 12% body fat. Just enjoy working out and looking to put on 15lb.

Don't bother with that gym down in Kelmscott then, it's hideously expensive and has crappy gear. I go to Fitness First in Cannington (I live in Huntingdale, not far from you) which is too busy for my liking but the Thornlie leisure centre, although closer and cheaper, has a really limited range of weights.

And if you don't mind me asking, if you're only a 'casual' BB, why use PHs?

Sorry a bit misleading, what I should have said instead of " I wouldn’t call myself a bodybuilder" is that I am not in the same league as guys who compete and do this for a living. I’ve been working out 3 - 5 times a week for the past 5 years. Put on around 10kg in that time, though has been painfully slow the past year or so. Strict diet and training, last 3 month bulking phase at 4200 cals a day 40/40/20 put on 1kg of muscle, finally turned to ph’s to kick start some growth.

I looked at thornlie leisure center also didn’t see much in the way of free weights. What kind of fees does Fitness first charge and what is there gear like?

And you always wonder at Thornlie if your car will be there when you come out!
FF has of course 10,000 membership options, but mine is $60/month which covers the weights & aerobics classes (I think, but I don't care anyway) and I can use that m/ship at any of the FF gyms around Aust. Which sounds a lot but even TLC was $50/month. Their gear is pretty good, the only thing really lacking is a few more bare barbells since there isn't much choice in the preset ones. Plenty of eye candy there too! Shutting at 4pm on weekends sucks though.

the fitness firsts vary alot i know, but the ones close to me are pussy gyms... 100 cardio machines lined up, with a small free weight area at the end.. the one i go to is half the price, and is suited for hardcore bbers...

I was treated unbelievably well by everyone I came in contact with and had so many people offering me all kinds of assistance it blew my mind. When I lived on the Coast, I worked for Pro-Tect Security and was stationed at Santa Fe Gold on Orchid Ave. Anyone still hang out down there????

I wound up being extremely close friends with two guys you might know, Jon Davie, and Nick Jones. We consider each other brothers.

The gyms I trained at were Archers (Gold Coast), Olympian(Adelaide, UnderWorld (Melbourne), City Gym (Sydney) and a few others I can't remember the names to.

Anyway, I haven't ever posted on this board before, I usually cruise MuscleMayhem, and a few Canadian sites, but I wanted to check it out and when I saw all the Aussies on this thread, I had to jump in and say hey.

I am planning a trip back to the Gold Coast next year for a few weeks. My girlfriend wants to meet the guys I talk about so much.

They are great sites, but our board is more orientated around Australian Bodybuilding and nothing else. anabolex is a good site, but size matters has lost some credibility

OF COURSE I remember Charlie. **** I can't believe that guy. He was a blast. I dont have a backpack, and I pay $62 a month for the ability to train at any of their centres Australia wide.

So if I'm working in the city I have 3 gyms in the CBD to train at after work. I can also go to Bondi Junction and Randwick. Sometimes I train at Bankstown.

Even if I move house I dont need to change gyms and lose 1/2 my annual membership fee.

I never got any of that at City Gym or Golds or Ultimate at Newtown.

What's your choice? Fark-all :D
