Forget the fish oil, just keep taking the flax seed oil. Doesnt your flax seed oil contain omega 3, 6, and 9?? If not, Udo's make a gereat flax seed oil that contains all three, check it out.

Yeah I agree with youi09 on this one, fish oil is more important than flax oil. Flax oil has to go through a conversion in the body, whereas fish oil does not. If you're only going to take one, take fish oil.

Take you flax oil in your protien shakes, and take your fish oils with your meals. Both are great and an essential in any good bodybuilding diet.

Flax is obsolete. Fish oil is the way to go.

you take them through out the day, and flax is not obsolete. IMO fish oils are better, but different strokes for different folks. I take both and love it.

I tried flax oil in my shakes and I almost puked - it ruined the taste! I grind my own flax seeds in a coffe grinder and mix in 2-3tbs in my oatmeal or oatbran - kinda gives it a nutty flavor and you get the benefit of the fiber as well. I take my fish oils caps w/ with one other meal and my protein shake before bed.

To each his own. That's not what this is about at all. The bioavailability of fish oil is better regarding some of the EFA's and should be combined with flaxseed oil, evening primrose oil or borage oil.

The conversion to EPA and DHA,which is what your after, is not particularly efficient with flax oil. That`s not to say it`s not good for you because it definately is. Fish oil just happens to be better. DHA and EPA are in their already useable form. I use health from the sun`s liquid fish oil (you can get it at bb.com) and it`s so much easier than popping 15 to 20 fish pills a day. 1 to 2 tablespoons a day and that`s it. It`s also got one of the highest contents per serving of EPA and DHA.
Test, hate to break this to you but if you drink coffee or tea you will not get much benefit from flax oil. Caffeine inhibits the conversion to EPA and DHA.
