I've been trying to come up with jelly recipes that don't involve sweetener, and this is the result..
1 packet gelatin
1/3 pint hot water
3 tbs apple cidar vinegar
Ice or cold water
Chili powder
Make up the gelatin as normal by sprinkling it over the top water, stir till dissolved.
Add the ice or cold water to bring up to abround 3/4 of a pint.
Add the apple cidar vinegar and the chili powder.
Optional: add a little sweetener.
Chill till solid.
You can, depending on your taste, either eat this with a spoon like a savory jelly, possibly topped with creme fraiche, or you can eat it with meat to liven it up a bit
