I'm currently 5'8, 172lbs, and am looking to lose a fair chunk of bodyfat.
I'm not necessarily interested in my actualy weight, moreso my physical build. I was wondering if taking creatine, while also still watching what I eat and exercising daily, would be beneficial in achieving this goal?

I know that i will retain water and put on weight, but will it actually help me LOOK more toned, and also lose the body fat?

Thanks, team.

I'm fairly new at these forums, but I must say, you people are EXTREMELY helpful. I have found SO many great recipes and ideas for losing fat.

Keep up the good work!!

It may not necessarily help you LOOK more toned, but it will help towards a long-term fatloss goal.

I have heard that creatine can help with dieiting, and fat loss, and that is great while trying to put on muscle. So it's a win win.

If your worried about the bloat and water retention, try some Kre-Alk, or some Bulk CEE. Seems to give awesome gains, strength, size, at a lower dosage than creatine mono for those that it works for that is. With basically no sides, like bloat, water retention, and when you go off it your muscle stays. I was weary at first about taking creatine because of the sides I just mentioned. I noticed my friend pretty much looked thick, I guess it was the bloat off of the Cell-Tech creatine he use to take. Once he stopped that his gains went down alot. He wasn't really working out after he stopped taking the Cell-Tech, but still kept kind of active, but the gains just dropped. After reading about CEE, and Kre-Alk it's a whole different ball game. This is the reason I went with Kre-Alk. I'm trying to get muscle but also drop a bit of fat, and tone nicely. Been on 1.5grams daily for 3 days. It is still too early to tell. I'm gonna bump it up to 3 grams daily next week though.

There's a study cited by Pinnacle's Shredded Mass saying that creatine + N-acetyl cysteine is very good for cutting. I'll get around to trying to look into it fairly soon. You could in the meantime look into creatine pyruvate, I think that's supposed to aid in fat-burning.

creatine will also help you keep muscle instead of losing it while your cals are low.and your activity is up.since its pretty hard to lose a lot of fat without losing some muscle. It might help with muscle tone as I notice when I load on creatine my muscles look just a little fuller.still noticable though.as creatine is a good volumizer.but I respond great to just
plain ol creatine mono.no bloat or anything.guess im just lucky for that.
