Hey, I just wanted to know if you guys could help me with a problem that I've been having...maybe someone has gone through the same thing. I've been working out for about 5-6 years now and I got pretty big and strong, until I got hurt playing football. I dislocated my ankle and I was in a cast for about 2 months. The thing is that I, stupidly, continued to go to the gym while I was in a cast because I didn't want to lose any size. Well, I started overcompensating for not having balance from my left side and I began to lift the weight incorrectly. I did this pretty much with every exercise. Now, my ankel is fully healed and I have become so frustrated with myself because I just don't feel the exercises like I used to. I have tried adjusting my form several times but I just can't seem to work out like I used to. I don't get sore and I just don't feel that pump after I finish the exercise. I've gotten really down on myself and have lost all my confidence because I used to do everything absolutely perfectly and I used to feel every rep of every exercise. I gotta get that feeling back but I just don't know what I'm doing wrong. Can you guys give me any advice? Should I take some time off?? I've gone down in weight but I just can't seem to feel my muscles being worked out. Should I just stick with one weight and practice with that weight over and over?? I'm pretty lost and frustrated right now. I appreciate any help and thank you so much for your time. God Bless.
