About 2 days ago, my left shoulder crapped out on me and wouldn't press.

Was doing incline DB presses.

I can usually do 95s for about 6, my left couldn't even push up one.

On on occasion, I tried to press an 80 and failed. Then my friend helped me press the first one and I banged out a set of 10.

No pain through this, just crapping out, like not firing.

Very, very, very slight soreness now (2 days later) and I am debating going in and trying my workout again.

what do you think?

It is really unknown (hard to tell over the net and what someone else may be going through--especially if the reader never experienced it before).

But, if something is not right, I would take a break.
Why not start to favor other exercises for that muscle group.
If you can continue to work your chest in other ways without any signs of pain or other problems, then go back to doing this specific exercise in time but with less weight and work yourself back up using lighter weights.

No. 1 rule is not to get hurt and you may have a sign to alert you of that.
Once you hurt something, you then have to take a lot of time off to heal.
