6"1 169lbs..... I'd be alot more impressed if he stayed near his 240 and gained muscle.

well he was fat to begin with,

losing the fat first then building up the muscle was what he did.

You first. I don't care if you are a mod, you are truly one of the biggest jerks around here.

It's been my observation that people with fat do better to gain muscle and try to lose fat rather than just losing all the fat with no muscle. This is a bodybuilding forum, not a scrawn fest.

this forum is for all kinds of people... zach's story might help someone who started in the same situation he is. I don't really care what you think of me... i consider the source.

good job dude, you figured out the one and only good way to lose weight without getting sick, using drugs, or spending excessive amounts.. if only the rest of the obese population would follow your example.. exercise is the best

hey man, i when i was 17, i wasnt as tall or as heavy as you and i benched nearly as much as you and squated more (bench 275, squat 435) if you work it off with excessive exercise, you'll be cool, you'll get into great shape, maintain ur strength and lose weight, running is also very key. i recommend no less than 2 and a half hours of a hard workout a day and running for 30 mins to an hour. if you have a problem with wanting to eat cuz you're losing all ur nutrients, get supplements in the form as to be taken in a drink, filling up on drinks will make you not as hungry. like with anything .. hard hard work.

I'm currently 22 years old and down to 240 from 320 in HighSchool.. Nutrition is #1, actually writing down EVERY SinGle meal with macronutrient ratio's is essential. Figure out your maintenence Calories and reduce by a small amount (don't reduce under maintenence TOO much or you lose muscle) and keep up the workin' out brotha

Take's about two minutes to write down each meal, IMO the best two minutes ya can spend, just keep a journal on ya.

AND

NO FAST FOOD IT IS THE DEVIL =D

well... mayb on cheat day every other week

GoodLuck
