So I tried I asked PT who seemed somewhat knowledgeable to advise about snatch .he made me do ohs squats, etc he told that my wrists are flexible enough and squat is ok as well ( so no flexibility problems there).

But that my lats are tight and that is the reason I cannot put the bar to the proper position (e.g. it is leaning forward) .Plus that I cannot properly stabilize the bar (it is wobbling in OH position)

What would be best ways to address those two deficiencies? I want to be able to do snatch eventually .

Stabilizing the bar will come with practice. It sounds like it's your chest and shoulders that are tight, so work on stretching out your pecs. Just grab a bar overhead and try to bring it as far back as you can. You can have someone pull gently on the bar from behind, or you can do that stretch on a stationary object.

You can do dislocates with a dowel or curtain rod. For a good stretch, kneel down about 3-4ft from the back of a chair. Grab the top of the chair, and let your torso hang down. You can also set a bar in the squat rack at about stomach height.

Stablility will come with practice.

Shoulder dislocates with a broomstick did wonders for my OH positions.

I'll second dislocates, as well as OH squats and Drop Snatches, and just more snatching.
