My question is on taking weightgaining protien. When should it be taken. I have been taking mine after I finish my workout. What do you guys think?

if you want to gain weight then take a weight gainer...
usually they are taken in the morning and after your workout
I take it that by "weight gaining protein," you mean a weightgainer shake, which also includes lots of carbs and some healthy fats. If you are bulking, you can have one whenever you want. If you are cutting or not looking to gain weight as fast as possible, drink it right after you workout or in the morning, when your body desperately needs the calories from the carbs.
