stretch marks --> can i compete?

I have very large stretch marks. I'm talkin big. Like 7-8 inches, more in some places. I've completely transformed by body, but they're still there.

Question is, given that they're there, what's competition going to be like with those there? I know competition is about symmetry, etc, etc, but am I hosed with those on me?

Sigh... kinda depressed about it. It's funny though, going out and taking the shirt off and people are like, "WOW" and I'm like, "yeah battle scares. it's called willpower and determination." unfortunately i lacked those two qualities before i gained them :)

Anyway, has anyone seen people with big ol stretch marks competing?

of course people that compete have stretch marks...a lot of us were former fattys that transformed, a good tan seems to be able to disguise or mask the marks...dont feel depressed about it, its not a big deal, be happy your in the shape your in and go compete!!!

Yep, when you put your tan on and mat on, and under the stage lights, no one will be able to tell you have them.

awesome! Thanks guys! I'm not quite there for competition sake. Still got some fat to lose, but it's a goal I'm moving toward. Probably a year away realisticly so I'm satisfied.
