I have currently decided to stop lifting the pink dumb bells in the gym and get serious about becoming a freak. I am 21 years old and have consulted a local health store about nutrition and workout regimine. I have been started off on the following supplements:

BCAA'S
TRIBULUS
ALPHA LIPOIC ACID
CREATINE ESTER
GLUTAMINE
GLYCOLOAD

This came at a cost of $300 dollars. My current consultant is extremely Knowledgeable and an accomplished weightlifter. I am confident I have made the right decision and looking forward to my future gains due to the guidence of this store. I was just wondering what everyone thinks about taking this large of a supplement list. If I was cloned and my clone did not use this list and I did, after a year of lifting would there be a Substantial difference between us in regards to size and strength gains?
Thank you guys for any help!

tell me you got whey protein...please...

personally i think trib is a waste of money, along glutamine and many of the types of BCAAs. trib (yes i have taken it) did not help me make any gains but did increase my libido, which was not necessarily a good thing. glutamine is not cost-effective and not necessary if your diet is correct.

IMO the only real thing worth taking (more or less) in that list is the CEE although trib can be helpful at times (PCT). The most important thing you can take in is FOOD, then some more FOOD then FOOD again!! dont get carried away on supps bro cause Im telling you if you dont have the right food intake I dont care what supps you take you not going to make great gains.
Also you have to get your training dialed in as well and that is not as easy as it sounds either.
Please keep in mind that supp store employee's may just try to sell you stuff just to get the sale (not all,but def some) and alot of supps are really only needed when you are more advanced, have been training for awhile and get stuck at a certain level.

Creatine, whey, multi-vit, and maybe glutamine work great for me. Not sure if trib or the acid is worth the $.

1) HST (Hypertrophy Specific Training) - go to the home page. It's free!
2) Creatine Monohydrate - Any micronized 100% pure (preferably AST or some other product using creapure). This is a time tested and proven effective supplement.
3) Whey Protein - Cheap good effective supplement. ON or Dymatize Eite are popular favorites because they are both cheap and tasty.
4) Multi-Vitamin - If you get enough veggies, you shouldn't actually need this but even so, I get tons of vegetables and still take a multi. Stick with a multi that has no iron. Most men get more than enough in their diets.
5) Fish Oil - Although flax oil is an option, if you drink coffee, the cafein will actually inhibit the conversion to DHA and EPA which is what you want out of the flax oil. Fish oil already has DHA and EPA in it final useable form and I drink coffee. NOW Salmon oil from this site is dirt cheap.
6)HSN (Hypertrophy Specific Nutrition) Go to the home page and check it out. There's no faster way to grow.

All the items you mentioned are overhyped, overpriced and generally lack objective scientific studies compared with the 6 items mentioned above which are completely the opposite (i.e. cheap, well recognized as effective, and have many many scientific studies backing them)
