Hi All

I’ve one question for my friend.
My friend is amateur bodybuilder and now he is preparing for contest.
He heard that, in the contest morning he must eat high volume of carb.
Is it right?
What to eat in the contest day?

Please send your advise. If possible please write by details.
Thanks

On contest day, you dont want to eat too much carbs. But, at the same time you want to eat enough so you have energy for the show. Make sure though not to eat only a bare amount of protein, because if your all dehaydrated (as you should be) protein will cause strain on your kidneys.

I've got a show in 2 weeks, and I am planning on drinking 75 grams of dextrose and 10grams of creatine w/ about a half liter of water 30-45 minutes before i go on stage. This should cause a huge insulin spike and drive the sugar and water into my muscles for a fuller look. I haven't tried it yet, but I'm betting it will work.
Really the day of the show is just about too late to worry about the nutrition. Nothing w/in reason, that you do is gonna make that great of a difference. I'd start carbing up w/ 400-600 grams of carbs 2-3 days before the show.
