Just a quick question, I have some ON 100% whey protein and it says to take 1 gram of whey for every pound I weight. Just wondering, is it best to follow that or have you guys came up with a better amount to take in a day?
Thanks!

1 gram per pound is the general rule. Lots of guys like to get even more than that some taking as much as 2 grams per pound of bodyweight. If you're looking to bulk up and put on some mass and have a reasonable diet then try to be in the range from 1-1.5 g's per pound of bodyweight. Just don't rely on the whey for too much of that though, gotta get it through a healthy diet as well.

Depends on your diet.
I take whey in the morning after cardio and after a workout, ~50 grams each time.
1.5 - 2 grams of protein/lb per day is what you should try to aim for, so check how much you get from your diet and add as much whey as you need to get up to that amount.

I'm sure I dont need to tell you this but make sure that you dont use whey as a crutch to replace a poor diet.
dont depend too heavily on the shakes. getting protein from a variety of sources is imperative to growth
