can anyone point me to any threads or information specifiaclly on CEE - there are tons on mono, but i can't find that much information on CEE - especially when to take it, suggested quantities/dose, whether you need to spike insulin to increase it's effectiveness blah blah etc..

thanks - I had read those - but apart from the sales pitch on how great it is, there's no real information on how it should be used; i guess this is what I'm after.

Except for dosage, it should be used just like Creatine mono until we have studies to prove otherwise:

Take 3g around 30-60 minutes pre-workout and 3g immediately post-workout with protein / Amino's, and ANY carb source to boost creatine absorption. As always, dextrose / maltodextrin CAN still be used, but are not necessary. Gatorade is a good choice, if you want to use dextrose.

Potassium, Sodium, ALA, Chromium CAN also be used, but aren't necessary.

On non-workout days, take 3-6g first thing in the morning with ANY carb source.

At the moment I take 2g CEE on workout days, but what about on non-workout days; I train only 2 times a week - how much CEE should I dose on those days (which are a majority) and when is the idea time? thanks.

Why are you only taking 2g ? See the post above for timing. On your non-workout days, take it first thing in the morning with ANY carb source.

I've read that 2-5 grams are advisable - 5 being overkill. That and the CEE i use suggests 2 serving per day and each dose contains 1g of CEE

On off days take 1/2 teaspoon first thing in the morning and 1/2 teaspoon 8 hours later.

On training days, take 1/2 teaspoon first thing in the morning and 1/2 teaspoon 30 minutes pre-workout. Or you could take it post workout also. That's it don't over complicate it, this is not rocket science. You don't need any carbs to mix it with just water is fine if you want but it does taste bad so be prepared for that (you get used to it eventually).

No insulin spike needed, that's one of the reasons why it's a way better product than monohydrate.

No insulin spike needed, that's one of the reasons why it's a way better product than monohydrate.

1) No insulin spike is needed for monohydrate either.

2) We don't know yet if absorption of CEE can be enhanced, but until we DO know, assume that it can.

Well, like i said - on the side of my SAN CM2 CEE tub. I'd also read that else where - so if 2-5 grams is the wrong ball park - what are advisable quantities to take - if you could tell me that, it would be kinda helpful....

CM2 is Creatine-methyl-ester HCI so it might be different dosages.
