View Full Version : No2 Non Responder?!
it seems that whatever nitric oxide product i buy has no effect on me. I drink ****loads of water and eat 200-300 grams of protien a day but it seems that nothing i use, NO2, coldfusion, or xpand has seemd to work. For the most part it seems that i dont respond to supplments very well, such a creatine mono, im starting cellmass soon so maybe cee will be different. Ive started taking no-xplode yesterday but it hasnt worked yet. Is there anything such an arginine or nitric oxide product non responder, please let me know thanx

I remember taking arginine and ornithine 15 years ago, back then it was meant to raise HGH.
The million dollar question is if Arginine really does raise NO, the answer is, it depends.
Arginine raises insulin, it is the most powerful insulin secretagogue of all amino acids, insulin increases NO.
IOW, it probably works great if you are taking it on an empty stomach right before workout (compared to not taking it and working out on an empty stomach), OTOH, dextrose would work even better since it releases more insulin (and therefore more NO).
As if that was not enough, a pump is just a pump, you could do 100 reps instead and get a helluva pump, it has NOTHING to do with muscle growth.
Arginine supplements have been crap for 15 years and it is still crap, they come and go and every time they are said to have some different function and a flawed "scientific" explanation is provided to back it up.

I noticed the same thing for me, but I think I know what your problem is. When I started taking superpump250 I thought that I was supposed to drink a lot of water all the time, this is slightly true. throughout the day you should drink a lot more water than normal, but the 30-45 min. before you workout when your actually ingesting the NO2, drink less water. I found that when I drank 40 oz. of water with the superpump that I didn't feel a thing, but when i only had 15 0z. of water witht the superpump it had more significant results on my body. so, YES...DRINK A LOT OF WATER, but between the 2 hours or so that you ingest the NO2 and workout, cut back on the water, you'll feel a huge difference. unless you really are an NO2 non-responder.

NO2 doesn't work worth a crap for me. I think it falls into the worthless supplement category. Another way to fleece those interested in getting swole.

I am not sure how old all of you are but it pisses me off when I see the young folks under 25 getting taken like suckers.
Over 25's should KNOW BETTER!
Want to know if a supplement is crap?
Do a search on these forums and take a look what was hot 3-4 years ago, 2 years ago, even a year ago...you will notice that the supplement hoolpla comes and goes.
If NO products are so damn good then why didnt anyone use them or talk about them 10 years go? 7 years ago?
Why because now that Prohormones are banned, the supp companies need to generate new snake oils to sucker people with.
If any of these products being hyped right now were any good you would always hear about them, instead of just after release or during the next year.
For example, you ALWAYS hear about steroids because they work.
You always hear about protein because you HAVE TO HAVE IT.
You STILL hear about creatine because it works, albiet not as the super roid replacer it was touted as back in 1997.
So do a little research, what has always worked and is STILL talked about?
Here ya go, in no particular order:
1) FOOD & WATER
2) Protien
3) Vitamins
4) Amino Acids - usually enough in your protien mix
5) Creatine
6) Liver Tabs
7) The original ECA Stack - not the herbal equiv.(Aspirin, Epherdrin, Caffiene) an illegal combination in most countries.
8) SOME ProHormones (all now illegal)
9) Steroids (ditto)
Want to get huge and not go the roid route which I did and regret (almost ruined my life).
Eat big, lift heavy, or go home!
Sorry to rant, but I am getting sick of good honest folks here getting ripped off.
Ok all you Supp company spammers, start flaming!

If you didnt notice anything from no xplode then you have a problem, you had to of noticed an energy boost at the very least. Watch your intake of glutamine because it will diminish effects of no. Especially with all that protein intake, check your powders and see if theres alot of glutamine

I know what ur problem is. Although u did the right thing to drink 8 glasses of water or watever and protein. YOU need Carbs and a lot of it. Like i weigh 125 and i;m suppose to consume 225 grams of carbs for me to get good gains along with a nice workout. so if u weigh like 200 u should consume like 400 grams.

Chase I regret roids because although they did work for me muscle wise they cost me much much much more in other things MORE important than muscle.
They made me very aggressive, sexually and temperwise.
Almost cost me a marriage, a job, and almost my sanity.
Thats because on the upcycle, you feel GREAT.
But when you cycle down, you get depressed.....
It throws your whole hormonal axis off kilter.
Maybe some people are ok with roids, but for other than muscle they hurt me.
In fact, a relative of mine who is HUGE...looks like the Rock...won't even touch any Testosterone based steroids for the same reasons.
We had a nice conversation after he admitted he had tried them to me.
ANd we compared notes on all the problems we experienced.
I couldnt get enough sex while on them, and my attitude and personality changed from a nice guy to a jerk.
I was tempermental with everyone and threw alot of temper tantrums (roid rage).
PLUS, injecting yourself is a lesson in fear.
The first time you hit a nerve or get an abscess, will make you want to flush the stuff.
I really the only need for it is for the professionals, who have doctors that are willing to guide them, and in fact the Olympia Guys dont even really use roids anymore, they use Growth Hormone..the real kind and its expensive and requires a doctor to guide you through it.
So, my advise would be to avoid roids.
Plus they are illegal.
