View Full Version : ok, im doing chest today, how do i make this thing grow???

im trying to bulk up, so tell me, what 5 exercises should i do today for pure growth and mass? i do chest once a week so feel free to kill me with the workout :)
if you could, also please try to focus on the upper part of the chest too, the upper inner is pretty important, lol, i love that center cut inthe upper chest by the throat. thanks!

Try this:

Flat Bench 10, 8, 6, 4
Incline Bench 10, 8, 6, 4
Incline Flyes, whatever you want
Dips, 3 x failure

That's a tough question becuase different things work for different people, and you have to find what works for you using trial and error. Just make sure you don't overtrain!

flat
incline
decline
dumbell press flat or incline
and flyes


get hard

this is all i ever do for chest 3 sets or heavy bench press and 3 sets of incline bench on smith machine

Trial and error is the best way to go. For me, my upper pecs are harder to develop but my lower pecs develop really quick. Stick with a certain program for a few weeks and if it doesn't work, use different exercises for another few weeks and see what works. After a while you'll figure out what works best for you.
