We're about to leave for Town Hall to get civilly unioned. As usual we are running late. A xanax has not helped me in the least. Maybe the caffeine is counteracting it? Time for another xanax and/or a drink!? :p

Relax..............deep breath..............remember your doing this for love. :) I hate being late and I hate paperwork, but I love my wife and I am glad to be a married dude. I have read your past posts you love your boy and can get through the process.

Word of warning though, if we don't see wedding pics we are going to get really nasty on the forums about you :)

Second word of warning, no honey moon videos please :)

Thanks everyone. We just got back from a nice lunch. It was anything but quiet, as my partner's family is... um... boisterous.

We arrived at Town Hall actually before the judge was ready for us. He was running late with court sessins... I was freaking because we were running late. Actually we got there on time, but his niece and nephew (our witnesses) were late because my mother-in-law, who is an invalid, was not ready.

I calmed down when I knew WE had to wait for the judge! :) And the judge was a pip. He was cracking jokes, and probably enjoying this as much as anyone. He was great.

So now we're heading to the beach to relax and be chillin' like a villain. :D As soon as I get the pics downloaded to the computer I'll post a few.

Thanks all! I really appreciate all the well-wishes. ;)

It was really very nice. We were afraid the judge was going to be some grumpy bureaucrat who just wanted to mumble the words and get on with life. But as I said, he was great. At one point Carlos's mother said something, so the judge said "How do you say 'smart-ass' in Spanish?". We cracked up, and he was laughing.

The clerks came rushing in all grinning and beaming and shaking our hands, Then the judge said with a sigh "Well, I really have to get back to work". I took that to mean, this was not work, but a pleasure part of his job. He really enjoyed this.

Now everyone is still sleeping from being up all night watching movies. I see empty bottles on the kitchen counter. So I know some partying went on (I tried to stay awake but by 1:30 am I called it a day.

Even my birds were groggy and quiet this morning.

Congrats, dude. It's been 16 years for me and wonderful all of 'em. You'll wonder how you did without her.

Congratulations Frank. Come to SF for your official honeymoon... we'll treat you guys right around here. And if you're already going on an official honeymoon, nothing wrong with another one!!!

By the way.... have not read anything about a bachelor party. Did you have one? If so, details and pics please! :D

Thanks.

I was to SF once many years ago, on business. Loved it. Beautiful city.

Ah, the bachelor party. It didn't materialize... and if it did I don't think most of you guys would want to see the pics. :D

The closest we got was chatting it up with two lonely Brazilian guys at the Tiki Bar.
