there's been a few old threads on pump up routines. From what I've read, you should avoid pumping up the biceps and the legs cause when you're full of blood in those areas.......it'll be very difficult to flex and see how hard you are.
flexing the legs while they are fresh is much better. On the contrary...work the shoulders and back hard cause you can never look wide enough.

thank's.........my perfect posing video says not to pump the legs.......but i guess i am one of those exceptions because when my legs are pumped i have striations that run from all areas....i have read that a few people do pump there legs..........but i just have no idea on how to pump them in the pump up room if they don't have a squat rack....
never worked out my legs dumbells before

I don't recommend pumping the legs up cause you'll look smooth on stage. I'm under the impression that most pump up rooms don't have a squat rack because they're aware of this.
All of my sources say not to pump up the legs or arms.....but rather focus on back and shoulders.
If you feel the need to pump up the legs.....lunges would be the most advantageous, however, i don't recommend you do any of this.

i have heard pumping up the arms to some extent is fine just be careful with the biceps so it doesnt effect your peak too much...pumping up your tris some i heard is okay but your right not as excessively as shoulders or back
