Green apple GreenMagnitude! Tastes great, I love the sour punch. Seems to be working well, but simple monohydrate works just as well in my opinion.

monohydrate always blurrs my cuts. I have better results with products that have Kre-Alkayln...

OK Ive been reading page after page..176 i cant read them ALL....4 am.. lol

Three brands that some of you guys made enticing to me..

Neovar...one user said best results and they are very cheap..the fact they are also pills is plus 1!

Cell-Tech Hardcore...the user made it sound like he received great gains on it..price stinks but maybe ill try it out for a month and see if the price is worth the gains?

Greenmag...still researching the gains/price aspect..protip?

could someone give me their experience and tell me which is better of the three? i want to buy it asap so it comes with my 50lbs of steelcut oats (148 at 5.9, way too low) lol

I've heard some great reviews about ON's CGT (creatine, glutamine, taurine). Anyone have an opinion on this product? Can anyone recommend me a good creatine product that mixes well and is easy on the wallet?

1.Cell Tech Hardcore!! - I had awesome gains and it tasted good...but it was expensive

2.Size On: Tasted a little chalky and still has some decent gains..

3.Cell Mass by BSN ---Decent taste and ok gains.

id would say green mag is the best one since the price/serving is really cheap compared to sizeon or something similar. also it has more than 1 kind of creatine in it

Krealkalyn made me go to urgent care for stomach pains. I thought i burst my appendix for a good few hours. Never taking it again. I was drinkin 1-2 gallons of water a day so i guess it was the krealkalyn because that was the only change in my diet

i then tried CREATure creatine and not a single stomach problem yet after two bottles. great gains so far too!

For me Green Mag its been great, everyone responds differently to creatine/cee etc.
Its one of those things, you need to go through the "trial and error" experience until you find what works "best" for you.

ive used everything from phosphagen hp from eas (way back in the day!) celltech, etc and i got zero results from all of them, kre-alkalyn from sci-fit is the only creatine product that has ever worked for me. i gained over 10 pounds the first 2 weeks with zero bloating or discomfort plus theres no loading phase!. i'm sticking with this one for sure. buying supplements is trial and error sooner or later you'll find the one that works for you.

I did the whole reading thing, eyes started to hurt so when i bought my creatine i just choose what i felt good enough(price/g,etc)

I'm using EAS - Creatine (monohydrate), been on it for roughly 1.5-weeks while on a cut.
I haven't noticed any strength changes but i am not rapidly dropping on the scale, which is a good thing.

A lot of whats being stated here has three problems.......

1) For those who claim products, especially straight Creatine Mono doesn't work for them, I would suggest upping the dose past the standard 5 grams. For some this will make a big difference.

2) Many of the products listed here contain way too many stimulants. This makes it difficult to determine if the actual product is working OR if the stimulants are providing the main boost. Let's be aware of this.........

3) You must cycle your supplements in order to keep its effectiveness

With that said NSI Micronized Creatine Mono has been doing a fine job at a good price. Its a straight Creatine Mono.

I am around 8 grams daily as a dose and I cycle the product 3 months on 1 month off.

Also, when it comes to creatine monohydrate, there are a variety of purity levels which can greatly affect ones experience and results when using "creatine monohydrate". Creapure brand creatine monhydrate is the purest raw material source on the market! A number of brands use this as their material, SportPharma included! http://www.bodybuilding.com/store/sport/justcreatine.html

There is a lot about cycling supplements on here. I currently am on White Flood/Green Magnitude/Purple Wraath and Orange Triad and Orange Oxi Mega Fish Oil. All of Controlled Labs is freaking amazing!

How often should I cycle this? My (cycle) will last 8 weeks, 40 workouts, then how many weeks should I take off supplements? I was thinking 1 or 2 weeks, and thats it? Is that long or short enough?

I'm just particularly concerned with the creatine and stimulant use. And also if anyone knows, it says to take Green Mag before, or half before and after. Can I take it just after my workout? Will that still be effective? Cause I know a lot of creatine/taurine supplements out there are also highly recommended post-workout.

the only one there that needs to be cycled on and off is white flood. after each tub take 1-2 weeks off of all stims/caffeine before starting your next tub. green magnitude and the two orange products should be used daily and dont need cycling. purple wraath is workout days only and does not need cycling.

its best and easiest to mix green magnitude with white flood and take it pre. on off days you can take green magnitude anytime (or even make popsicles from it to enjoy the flavor more)

Cell X Elite by Nutrition X is an excellent creatine product.

Not only does it provide creatine but it also has glutamine to limit excess muscle breakdown and also has good levels of beta alanine to maintain muscle pH during intense workouts. I have used this for a few weeks now and I have packed on 3kg of muscle due to the improvements in work capacity. I really recommend this product and see if this discount code will work for 30% off (TMS430XDL). I have used it already but I am unsure if it can be used more than once...

If you want to check out the link please type Nutrition X into google and follow the link to the UK site.

whats wrong with NO-Xplode? I like it for the prework out energey....whats your take on it? any thing better?

NO-Xplode always made me really jittery because of caffeine, but then again just about all of those pre-workout supplements are caffeine, just drink a cup of coffee, they taste better and will give you the same type of energy. Plus they have the very serious side effect of raising your BP, ALOT. And not just after taking it but for weeks after your BP will be significantly higher than from before taking them.

I've had very little luck with most creatines, except one. As much as I hate to admit it, MuscleTech's CellTech Hardcore worked really well for me. It's definetly pricey, but my bench was going up 5-10 lbs a week in the first three weeks. I can't say how well it works over a long period, or how much of the gains you keep when you get off, cuz I recently broke my humerus in 5 spots so my lifting is done for a while. But, when I'm healthy again I'll be back on it.

Celltech is awesome but its a post workout creatine. Try ssin juice as a preworkout and celltech as a post. ssin tastes like **** but...hey...its a suppliment...not coolaid...not any worse than a shot of old grand dad

Science Behind
The Carno Cre™ formula is a tool kit of ingredients that are at a premium in today’s world for their broad spectrum of fatigue-fighting and endurance-promoting properties. Carno Cre™ isn’t like other endurance training drinks, it is formulated with the only patented and scientifically proven CarnoSyn™ beta alanine as well as a 5-point creatine complex Magna Cre Mito-Matrix™.

Carno Cre™’s Key Ingredients:
• Magna Cre Mito-Matrix™ (5-point creatine complex)
• Endurance Complex™ with CarnoSyn™ Beta Alanine

Magna Cre Mito-Matrix™
A time-staged complex of 5 different forms of creatine including the patented magnesium-creatine chelate, Creatine Magna Power® which supports faster re-synthesis of ATP in working muscle tissue. The Magna Cre Mito-Matrix™ supplies instant bursts of energy to muscle cells which allows you to train harder and longer thereby leading to muscle growth, greater strength, fuller muscles and enhanced performance.

Dietary supplementation with creatine has been established to increase muscle creatine and phosphocreatine levels. Via its effects on phosphocreatine levels, creatine supports the re-synthesis of ATP and delays the onset of acidosis (H+ accumulation) and fatigue during exercise. MCMM consists of five forms of creatine: Creatine Magna Power® (magnesium creatine chelate), di-creatine malate, creatine citrate, creatine monohydrate and creatine ethyl ester. Each form of creatine is characterized by its own unique pharmacokinetic properties including speed of absorption and residence time in the body. By combining multiple forms of creatine, MCMM adds an indescribably powerful time-staged dimension to the performance-enhancing benefits normally experienced when supplementing the diet with creatine. In addition to stabilizing creatine, the magnesium moiety of Creatine Magna Power® supports vasodilation, ATP re-synthesis, insulin action and overall neuromuscular and cardiovascular function.

definitely TRINITINE

More people need to try it out. When they do, well ... they love it!

http://forum.bodybuilding.com/showthread.php?t=128983601

For saying Ultima gave him similiar results as some PH's, but I started trinitine a while ago, then added ultima preWO 3 weeks ago, and WOW. It has been three weeks total taking ultima on workout days, and trinitine on off days, and I am floored.

First off, i should note that i have been off creatine for 6 months, but am familiar with the effects mono had on me. Which were decent.

While the mass gains are definitely coming, they aren't as good as some of the stronger PH's or DS's..... but the strength gains have been astonishing. Especially since I've been in a rut in my bench press for a while. The mass gains are coming due to the tremendous increase in strength no doubt. The last chest day I added 30lbs to my bench and did the same amount of reps as the previous session.

I originally bought it because i wanted to try MCC. I liked Omega, knew it would be pure, and it was cheap enough. I thought the whole MG, K, and NA was bull crap..... but now I'm starting to think it's true. Either that or omega is spiking trinitine with something :p

Well, basically I got my creatine from the weight gainer I was using at the time, Ultimate Nutrition Iso Mass Xtreme.
I think part of the reason I would feel so bloated after consuming it was the Creatine Monohydrate in it.
It had these types of creatine in it :
Creatine Monohydrate, Tricreatine Malate, Kre-Alkalyn, Creatine Orotate,
Creatine Alpha Ketoglutarate, Creatine Ethyl Ester, Creatine Pyruvate

And I'd say of those 7 types, only Monohydrate and Tricreatine Malate (which I imagine is similar to the Dicreatine you guys use) and Kre-Alk worked.
CEE is rubbish of course, and the rest, well I have never heard of them and aren't convinced of their effectiveness.

It's been great now actually just taking a creatine supp separate to my protein.
Makes it easier to stomach things, and I actually look forward to taking Green Magnitude because it tastes fantastic.

I only lasted for about a week and 2 days on Prolab Creatine before having to stop because the irritation I got from stomach bloat and indigestion was more than I could handle (which, based on a majority of reviews, this problem only applied to me). When I was able to get past that though it seemed to work really great. Now I don't know whether I should try loading it again later, try Green Mag, or go for something like Purple K. Thoughts?

Ive been taking Green mag/WF for a couple of weeks and it is def better than anything i tried before both in terms of taste and and the energy it gives me for workouts.

I am now starting to take oxyelitepro(couldnt find REDuction in Dublin,Ireland). Question for the controlled labs rep, should i make sure i take the OEP 4-5hrs before WF/Green mag?

Great products just wish they were easier to find here.

my favorite creatine so far has been concrete creatine. i didn't have water retention and my strength went up while taking it. but i ended up missing a week at the gym while on it so i didn't get to see the full results from it. i'm starting it again soon to find out how much i can really gain from it.

Yeah brah thats a preworkout with creatine in it.......so of course its gonna make you feel amazing, that isnt the creatine though. We are talking about creatine products in here, not products with creatine in them...

I'm gonna try to answer you as honestly and sincerely as possible according to my knowledge (which I don't claim to be extensive by any means).

LRN2EAT. Seriously though. If you want to grow, you are going to have to eat more than you currently are (unless you are steadily gaining weight as is). You want to make sure your protein intake is around 1g per pound (body weight) per day. Eat a lot of whole foods and learn to train correctly. Read the stickies in the Nutrition and Exercise Programs sections. Supplements will do NOTHING unless you have those things in order first. At 17 and skinny though- you should be able to eat just about anything you want and not worry too much about gaining too much "fluff"

I take in about 3800 calories (about 450g carbs, 180g of protein 120g of fat) a day after a quick add up of my average foods consumed. Im just getting into lifting and straying away from my normal p90x'ish workouts if you will. But food wasnt really what i was asking about. Im more concerned about creatine just adding on water weight when my priority is building defined mass, not just bulk. Thanks for the advice!

I would have to go with either Green MAG or Millennium Sport's CRE02, just based off experience. Not overly expensive, however, they are certainly quality products. I'm currently going with CRE02 for now because of they're pill form. I doubt the Cordyceps does much of anything but the Creatine is great.

Green MAG is the best tasting creatine product I've tried so far. Major props to CL for making a tasty creatine supplement!

Right now, my go-to creatine supplement is Animal Pump. It has a nice compliment of different forms of creatine and it's in handy pill form so I don't have to worry about having water and a shaker bottle handy, not to mention having to clean it out before making my intra-workout drink or post-workout drink. Plus Animal Pump doubles as my pre-workout supplement too. Nice product and worth a try.

I'll take Controlled Labs Green Magnitude any day of the week. Amazing Taste, great recovery, strength, and size increases. Little to no excess water held from it. On top of all that you can get 8-16 weeks out of a $32 canister of it. You get 80 servings, and if you work out 5 days a week, you can get 16 weeks worth by using it only after or only before you work out. If you use it before AND after, it lasts you a solid 8 weeks. I just throw some plain monohydrate in my protein shakes on rest days.

It's a great supplement and completely cost effective - I love it.

I am trying CellMass sometime soon though when I get my samples - just for kicks. If I like it I may buy a tub. If so then I will comment on how it stacks up against Green Mag - but I know it will be tough to top.

Overload?, yes but creatine can't hurt you and I'll tell you what I've been taking this stuff for about 8 years and messed with alot of name brand products and nothing compares! APS Nutrition- Creatine Nitrate, best creatine out right now, it's nothing like normal creatine, with the added Nitrates it gives an 8 hour No2 effect, no bloating actually it's quite the opposite the No2 effect gives a dry lean look, the pumps are insane and with in a few days you see an instant full effect. Creatine Mono is going to be out of the picture once people give this a try.

I was using that for awhile before I really got into lifting and I noticed results. It is hard to say if it was Kre-Akalyn or if it was the fact that I was lifting harder and eating more. I liked the product because it was capsule form rather than powder.

Anyone against the product? I think I might go buy another bottle and try it out again if not.

Well I tried green mag after reading through this thread....The taste is amazing, but about 20 minutes into my workout I get sick. After about the 3rd day on it, I was crapping GREEN. Stopped taking it for a week and I was back to normal, tried getting back on it again and back to the green poo. Just not for me I geuss. I am sticking with my assault pre workout and pink magic/prime stack and of course protiens blah blah and have been feeling fine.

Does green mag work? IDK. Never got that far. Every person is different and it just didnt work good for me and my body. I in no way mean this post to be a bash against green mag or CL. Just wanted to share my feedback.

Yes I have taken 3 types of kre alk.(EFX, Higher Power, Scifit 1500) I foind best results from the higher power. You can find creatine in caps too though.

Pro source creatine. It is the purest creatine out there! I take 5 grams in the morning 5 grams before I work out 5 grams after and 5 more before bed! Overload?, yes but creatine can't hurt you and I'll tell you what I've been taking this stuff for about 8 years and messed with alot of name brand products and nothing compares! You will instantly feel pumped and stronger! For the price and quality you can't beat it ! ********* has the top quality products out there!

The "purest" is normally standarized by Creapure..... You can visit their website to see what companies TRULY use their creatine, such as Optimum Nutrition. Not only is ON's creatine from Creapure, it is micronized, making it disolve and absorb much better. Not many companies sell a creatine that is both micronized and made from Creapure.

Creatine CAN hurt you!!!! About 5 grams is all your body can absorb. After that it makes a toxin in the kidneys.

Yep. Creapure creatine is the purest on the market. It's patented and tested to be free of impurities. SportPharma also uses 100% pure Creapure in its Just-Creatine (http://www.bodybuilding.com/store/sport/justcreatine.html). Just 3-5g would be needed per day. Once your creatine stores are saturated, you don't need a lot to maintain the saturation. By maintaining with 3g or so, you keep your stores full, don't piss the extra out and you save money for other supps :D

Go with just an unflavored creatine monohydrate. It's cheap, mixes well in gatorade, and will give you the best for your value. My local Vitamin Shoppe just had a special on them $10 for a 2.2 lb bottle. Score! Don't waste money on gimmicky products.

They stack great together!

Jack3d contains creatine mono, so depending on how many scoops of that you take would depend on how much extra creatine you want to put in your shake.

I'm currently using both those products, so I put 2.5g of creatine in with 2 scoops of Jack3d pre w/o and 5g creatine in my post w/o protein shake. Works a treat! ;)

originally i was only taking 5g per post workout shake, now after 3 months I will look to take 5g per morning and 5g with shake on workout days .

also with protein 1 scoop in the AM on all days with milk then 2 scoops in post workout shake

see if i get results quicker this way .

If I had to pick only one creatine (of the 4 I've tried) I would choose Encharge by rivalus. on my current bulk, which has only lasted a month, I've gone from 172 to 182 pounds and dropped my bf% by.5

My lifts typically increase by about 20% (average) biggest gains include curls (40 to 50 lbs) and squats (235 to 285 lbs) over an 8 week bulk. These are my numbers from last year. I expect the same results and am on track again for a great bulk.

I've been using Creaform by Primaforce. Seems like a solid no-frills company and it's pure creatine monohydrate. I know there are a ton of different creatines out there that are advertised as more effective and absorb better, but for me just 10 grams of mono with grape juice produces results. I know it's old school but if something worked years ago, it doesn't all of a sudden stop working, you know?

Anyway, this is the brand I've been going with for a while now. I've often wondered what makes one pure creatine monohydrate product better than another. I'm assuming it's how it's filtered/processed and perhaps where it comes from. Does anyone have information on where supplement company's get their creatine from and how it's manufactured?

Which has nadda to do with my comment. Creapure costs more for companies to purchase in bulk compared to Chinese stuff, and most people don't know that/realize that.

Thus, using Creapure cuts into profit margins for companies (which are already very thin as your 1000g for $20 shows...) selling CM.

So, creds to companies willing to lose some % of profit margin to sell the higher quality CM even though most people (you included it appears) don't always know/appreciate that.

So I wanted to give creds where it was due! :)

I understand your point. As a consumer I only use Creapure. I just do not think that a company should be given too much credit for using a product that should be the standard and is not expensive. The company you were giving credit to has around 1 gram of creapure per serving. So that is less than two cent cost to the company per serving.

Of course some companies will always buy the cheap stuff. Consumers should avoid those companies.

Its about double the cost of cheap Chinese creatine per kg. And costs alot more than pennies to our total cost lol, I wish it was only pennies! It is still affordable as you mention though, I agree.

Presurge contains 1.5g of creapure per serving, 45 servings, it certainly makes a different on our cost of producing this product compared to using cheap Chinese creatine. I'm more or less just stating from a production standpoint, using creapure over generic Chinese create, does have a significant impact/increase in our cost and our margins certainly would have improved quite a bit had we used Chinese creatine.

Also, I know from years ago, that companies were putting a little creapure in their creatine blends and than using the creapure logo. I believe the makers of creapure have been cracking down on that for a while now, as its obviously pretty misleading to the end consumer.

Yes. Sound familiar? I have only been saying pretty much exactly that for a decade or so...

Abstract

Creatine has become one of the most popular dietary supplements in the sports nutrition market. The form of creatine that has been most extensively studied and commonly used in dietary supplements is creatine monohydrate (CM). Studies have consistently indicated that CM supplementation increases muscle creatine and phosphocreatine concentrations by approximately 15–40%, enhances anaerobic exercise capacity, and increases training volume leading to greater gains in strength, power, and muscle mass.

A number of potential therapeutic benefits have also been suggested in various clinical populations. Studies have indicated that CM is not degraded during normal digestion and that nearly 99% of orally ingested CM is either taken up by muscle or excreted in urine.

Further, no medically significant side effects have been reported in literature. Nevertheless, supplement manufacturers have continually introduced newer forms of creatine into the marketplace. These newer forms have been purported to have better physical and chemical properties, bioavailability, efficacy, and/or safety profiles than CM. However, there is little to no evidence that any of the newer forms of creatine are more effective and/or safer than CM whether ingested alone and/or in combination with other nutrients.

In addition, whereas the safety, efficacy, and regulatory status of CM is clearly defined in almost all global markets; the safety, efficacy, and regulatory status of other forms of creatine present in today’s marketplace as a dietary or food supplement is less clear.

Although it's not solely a creatine product, I like Infinite labs Mass Port. The taste is just too damn good to pass up. I've had good luck in the strength department with Con-Cret too.

I would look for a brand that uses Creapure Creatine Mono, as it's the gold standard as far as Creatine Mono goes.

Ok, thanks again for the info. So what would be good to stack with the Creatine Mono?

Try agmatine and some additional electrolytes. I sometimes mix a teaspoon of mono with a few agmatine caps and some Gatorade. I get great pumps and a nice bump up in strength.

If you had to pick just ONE creatine product, what would be the best one for the best results?

Please pick a product and include the brand. Give your reasons. The best answers will be displayed on the main Bodybuilding.com site for millions of people to see!

(Note: This is not a discussion about how or when to take creatine, if creatine works, or why some creatines do not work. Just list your absolute favorite creatine product and give your detailed reason.)

Go for Monohydrate! Try different products in that range.. Geen Magnitude is not bad to avoid bloating :)

Con-Cret is unlike any creatine out there. You can build mass with it if you have your diet on point and your training too. From what I have read and experienced, strength is the number one aspect provided by Con-Cret.

BTW, you can build mass using any creatine as long as you eat, sleep and train properly.

after reading all the great things about green magnitude as the best creatine from this thread, i decided to go ahead and get ahead.

however, i havent felt anything. i feel no pumps or any increased strength. should i just go for pure creatine monohydrate instead?

Cell Mass by BSN. I generally don't like BSN's **** like N.O.Xplode or Nitrix, but cel mass did get me a lot stronger even though it is pricey. And both the punch and grape flavors taste awesome.

trying cell mass will post results

I personally like Cell Tech. The creatine aforementioned, is not too sweet. Moreover, it gives you tons of energy and you can see fast results. If you don't mind retaining water, this is the best product out there.
