I've tried plain non fat, plain 4%, non fat with grapes, 4% with grapes, and 4% with pineapple, and I just can't do it. Cottage cheese is just not my thing. So, what can I eat as a substitute? It has to be something I can pack and eat as a small meal/snack. I had planned on eating half of the cottage cheese at lunch (12:30pm) and the other half at my break at 2pm. I need suggestions

I actually agree with Sibrek for once.
Try any lean protein source in the world. That's all you need.

Cheese works well. Peanut Butter. Also Muscle Milk is a good protein shake to take before going to bed.

any source of protein with fat is good.. u can try a fatty fish.. or u can try a casein shake with some fat.. cheese is not a must.. there are always alternatives.. ;)

disagree, on the muscle milk.
buy a casein protein if youve got the cash, micellar casien should be the main ingredient, add a Tblsp of natty pb or take some fishoil with it to slow the digestion even more.

FF or LF hard cheese would work, also lean sliced meat, foil packs of salmon or tuna.

LOL Sibrek and I didn't have the most amicable initial dialogue but now that I've been around more have noticed and can appreciate the sarcasm. :D

I wouldn't be afraid of full fat cheeses either, even on a cut. But that's just me. :)

Even though I am using low sodium cottage cheese, the taste is starting to be unbearable. Instead, I am also eating some mozzarella cheese (a small amount of fat and good amount of protein).

How many brands of CC have you tried? The taste varies like you would not believe between brands.
The MM is a good idea (although it is an MRP, not a protien shake), but so is the MC protien + natty PB + fish oil (which basically gives you a similar macro as MM anyway).
Milk
Any kind of meat/fish/poultry/et. al.
Beans
Tofu/Tempeh
Whey protien
