What's the cheapest way to get new dumbbells ranging from 50-90lbs?

I'm looking to expand my home gym more because I'm sick of my current gym and the only thing I'm missing is heavier dbs.

Reps for help :)

Buy a dumbbell bar and add plates that add up to 50-90lb?

So far I was able to find this.

They're about 50c a pound which isn't too bad. I'm guessing shipping will probably rape me blind though.

Are there any local sporting good stores or anything that have it or can get it shipped in for you for free? (to them)

Actually I just noticed it's free shipping for any orders over $50. Then I went to checkout and it said they won't be available to ship until Sept. 9...

Weird, I just tried checkout and got free shipping but nothing about not being available until September 9th. If there's nothing locally available and you're getting a good price, why not wait?

Looks like they are 59 cents a pound, which is the same as Dick's, Sports Authority or just about anybody. Go pick some up yourself locally.

I can not believe that they will ship weight for free...no way no how...i would call because that shipping is hundreds of dollars...UPS will charge I'm guessing 30-40 cents A POUND..seriously I work in the industry and They can not ship those for free...thats 1260 pounds..I bet it's $400+ to ship could be higher.

If they ship those for free you got the deal of a lifetime...the huge stores get them shipped for free because of buying 100,000 pounds at a time...that online dealer does not get any big break when they ship them to you I don't think.

Online pricing is pretty cutthroat among the sites that manage to sell much at all and aren't the most popular sites. I blame ebay. They might be able to ship a 55-100 lb set by truck freight for about $200-250 and possibly break even or else take a small loss and use it as a loss leader. So I think it's conceivable that they'll ship it for free, but if I were you, I'd place the order and see if they're willing to process it when the money is in their hands already, rather than call them up and possibly get shot down.

I'm going to go check at Dick's this weekend but if I remember right last time I was there they didn't have anything over 45lbs. I don't think I looked too thoroughly though.
