Escalating Density Training (EDT) is a training style put forth by Charles Staley.

If this article present to much complication for you, just let me know I can break it down for you. In short though its 20 mins, rotating between two antagonistic muscle movements, its vicious.

Funny that you posted this, I was just reading it.
I guess I am still confused.
I get that he suggest you do as many reps as possible in the 20 min time but how do you know when to change to the next one...
I dont get this
NOTE: Do not perform early sets to failure, or even near failure. My recommended starting point is to do 1/2 of what is possible (e.g., 5 reps with a 10-RM weight) at the beginning of the time frame. As the time limit approaches however, you'll find yourself working at or near failure as you attempt to break your rep record.
Can you kind of help with this...I just need to visualize this...
Thanks

Basically with this style of programming you need to really have a grasp on what your Rep ranges and numbers are.
Lets says in general failure for you on a front squat is 10 reps at 30lbs. Start out at 5 reps at 30lbs instead. Basically pace yourself because you know you are going to have to go 20 mins. Make sense?
