Quincy Taylor will win the show.
I have been to a Europa Super Show. The atmosphere was excellent, tons of product booths with generous samples. I like the variety of activities, strongman/ powerlifting/ modeling. i did not attend the evening bb show, but i will be this year. Space was the only hang-up i had with the event, but moving it to the Dallas Convention Center was a great move and will definately make alot of people happier.

Eryk Bui will be in the top 10 and Silvio Samuel will be in the top 3 if not number 1. I've talked to a couple people who know Bui and he said he is dieting great for this competition. Samuel has been in top shape all year placing in the top 10 of all of his 2007 shows.
Silvio Samuel will win.
Quincy Taylor will place (2nd at last years Europa and frequent top 10 places throughout his shows).

Quincy Taylor will take the Gold. Ever since last years 2nd Place win, this guy has worked his butt off to reach to the highest protentional. He has put so much dedication and performance to be the best at this year's Europa and I believe that it has paid off. He is huge, he is strong, and he is ready! This guy has it all and I hope I see him with the #1 Place trophy in his hand.
Silvio Samuel has also put much work in his body. If anything, this guy deserves to be in the top 3. He has worked extremely hard on his chest and back and his legs are pretty impressive. As the other guy said, he has ranked in the top 10 in previous shows and have to say, every show he performs in, he looks better and bigger.
The guy that we will see in the future is Omar Deckard. This guy is awesome and perfectly built. He is coming into this show to be the guy to watch out for. His chest and lats are just awe inspiring and abs are cut like diamonds. His performance at shows are quite outstanding if you have seen them. I bet that this guy will place in the Top 5 at Europa.
Eryk Bui will also place in the Top 5.
Too bad I haven't been to the Europa, but hope to go sometime down the Road

Quincy Taylor will, in no doubt of my own mind, take 1st place. After placing 2nd last year, he has brought up a lot of his weak points and is in incredible shape this year. As long as he nails his conditioning, he should be almost unbeatable. Deffinently an IFBB pro with lots of upcoming potential.
2nd will most likely go to Silvio Samuel. He has worked incredibly hard on his physique and deserves a high placing in the 2007 Europa show. His huge straited chest complements his gigantic arms and wide back. He was impressingly well conditioned in the Ironman and if he keeps it up, he will deffinently find himself at a high placing at the Europa Show.
I personally think that Eryk Bui will place 3rd or 4th in the show. Although he is one of the smaller guys, He has some fantastic symmetry and proportion. The only issue he seems to have is his conditioning. He looks good throughout the diet, yet on contest, he looks to be smooth and holding water. As long as he comes in well conditioned, I think he will be a hard competitor to beat.
I have never been to a Europa show. I do wish to go sometime in the near future though.

This is going to be a very tight competition. It all comes down to consistency. both Quincy Taylor and Silvio samuel have displayed this consistency and proven themselves both to be tremendous competitors. Q.T. definately has the size and from what ive seen this year he was weighing about 334lbs 8 weeks out. On the other hand, silvio samuel has a more pleasing and more asthetic physique. with his suprising 6th place finish at this years Arnold classic against a world class line up, it would be no suprise to see him win the show. My final decision was based on experience. Quincy competed in the Europa last year and almost won with his disapointing 2nd place finish to tony freeman. with that in mind I give 1st to quincy Taylor and 2nd to Silvio samuel

The Europa SuperShow has always been one of the most exciting competitions of the year. In the 2006 show, in a highly disputed decision, Toney Freeman barely edged out Quincy Taylor for first place. Quincy Taylor returns this year with the hopes that he may finish in first place and like last year, many think he will. This years competition will be very close, as there is no competitor who is head and toes above the rest.
The Top Ten
1st Place - Quincy Taylor
Since moving to Texas, where this competition will be held, Quincy said that he has continued to improve. During a recent interview with bodybuilding.com, eight weeks before this contest, Quincy weighed in at an impressive 334 pounds and stated that he will be following the same diet he has in the past.
Quincy has finished second at this show two years running and both times, the placings were highly disputed. Many predicted him to finish first last year and many are doing the same this year. If Quincy comes to the stage in the conditioning that he has in the past, he should win this competition.
2nd Place - Will Harris
The man is absolutely huge. Many are predicted that Harris could upset the two favorites, Silvio Samuel and Quincy Taylor, and finish in the first place. However, I feel he will fall just short of first and even though he finished behind Samuel and Tricky Jackson at this year?s Colorado Pro, finish in second. Will?s only issue in previous competitions has been his conditioning. If he can dial it in for this competition, look for him to place very well and be a threat to the top finishers.
3rd Place - Silvio Samuel
Silvio Samuel is no stranger to the stage ? he has competed in a ton of competitions this year and has more stage experience than most of the people in this competition. Silvio?s physique is well-rounded and proportional. I don?t expect Silvio to make any mistakes in preparation for this contest and thus, I look for him to place very well. If anybody competing slips up on their pre-contest preparation, look for Silvio to take advantage and move up a few spots.
4th Place - Omar Deckard
Omar has competed in three competitions thus far this year: the Iron Man (9th), the Sacramento Pro (9th), and the Colorado Pro (10th). In those competitions, he competed against and place better than some people who will be on the stage with him in the Europa Supershow. Past placings have some influence, however small, on how future placings will pan out. I look for Omar to finish fourth.
5th Place - Eryk Bui
Eryk has had some very disappointing finishes in his career. This year he finished 17th and 15th at the Iron Man and Sacramento Pro shows. However, Eryk has been making strides since his professional debut in 2006 and amongst weak competition, I look for him to place well.
6th Place - Tricky Jackson
Don?t be surprised if Tricky Jackson finds his way into the top five. He has recently competed in the Keystone and Colorado Pro shows. He has some great posing routines and always keeps the crowd entertained. In recent competitions, he placed well against difficult opponents and should use experience from those shows to help boost his preparation for and performance at this competition.
7th Place - Randy Jackson, Sr.
Randy Jackson, Sr. is a member of the United States Army and has just returned home from a tour of duty in Iraq. There are many people in the Army who are close friends of Randy and who will certainly be hoping to see him do well. I would like to congratulate Randy on competing in this competition, which certainly must be difficult, and would like to thank him for serving our country.
8th Place - Derik Farnsworth
Derik Farnsworth has always been a favorite of mine. His physique is very aesthetically pleasing and despite poor placings in previous competitions, he could impress some people here. I wouldn?t expect him to finish in the top five but he could finish near the top five.
9th Place - Heinz Senior
Heinz hasn?t placed in a competition since the 2005 Toronto Pro where he finished 17th. There aren?t many names past the ones listed above that people will recognize and he certainly isn?t one of them. I don?t look for him to place well but wouldn?t be surprised if he placed 9th ? it seems like a reasonable placing.
10th Place - Pablo Arevalo
Recent reports have stated that Pablo is looking great. However, I haven?t seen any photographs to support this. I will play it safe and place him tenth. If he looks as good as some say he does, he may place higher.
Bonus Question: Have you ever attended the Europa Super Show? If so, what did you think of it and how was your experience? Was it what you thought it would be? How could it be made better?
I have never attended the Europa Super Show though I have followed it online for a few years. It will be interesting to see how everything turns out this year, as last years champion, Toney Freeman, will not be competing this year.
Thank you for reading! I hope everyone enjoys the show and good luck to all of the competitors.

The Europa Supershow
Ed and Betty Pariso's Europa Supershow has quickly become one of the most attended and anticipated events. Offering 3 Olympia qualification spots, one of the largest prize purses, and a expo to rival the Arnold and Olympia, the Europa has become one of the focal points of any bodybuilding fans calendar.
New to the show this year is a 210-and-under competition to take place the night before the regular professional show. This alone has increased the already sizable quantity of IFBB pro's who enter the event.
Perhaps most exciting for bodybuilding fans is the fact that for the first time ever, the Europa Supershow's bodybuilding competition will be aired live via the internet on Bodybuilding.com's supersite. Placing the fan in their own first row seat guarantee's the anticipation is at a pulsating level throughout the show.
What competitor will win the prestige of one of the fastest growing contest in the IFBB? Who will walk away with a check from the Pariso's? Will the returning favorite Quincy Taylor be able to hold off new competitors, the likes of whom include the always consistent Silvio Samuel and the big man, Will "World" Harris? Let's take a look at my predicted top 10 finishers.
The Competition Countdown
First Place-Quincy Taylor
The man they call QT is a giant at 6'4, 320+ lbs in competitive condition. Although his physique is far from a "Cutie" if you will, Taylor does possess an amazing degree of symmetry, lines, and cuts for a man of his size. Quincy Taylor has spent all of the past year training and dieting to avenge his loss to Toney Freeman at the 2006 Europa by coming in at a self-proclaimed 315+ package, according to his recent interview with Pro Bodybuilding Weekly. The big man is an almost lock for 1st place, and unless he has a major slip-up, Taylor will ride into the Olympia sporting his first ever pro title.
Second Place-Silvio Samuel
A great example of what it means to be a full time bodybuilder, Silvio Samuel may also find that the reason he lands in second place. Silvio has put an almost unprecedented competitive load on his body; I fear his lack of a true offseason has hindered his ability to make the necesarry physique improvements to catapult him to his first professional title. Unless Silvio can come in with a more defined glute-ham region, and fix the problems he has had in presentation with regards to his lack of controlled breathing, Silvio will have to endure another loss, albeit a close one.
Third Place-Will Harris
The dark horse of this competition goes by the nickname "World", and with good reason. With width that is only second to Dennis James, this granite wall of muscle has many believing he could be the surprise winner. However, Harris has had significant problems with regards to his conditioning as recently as May's Colorado Pro. But maybe the 9 week layoff between the two contest has allowed Harris the time to harden up and really extradite the last bit of bodyfat from his body. If that is the case, look for Harris to jump to second place, and possibly even third.
Fourth Place-Joel Stubbs
The widest back in bodybuilding comes to the Europa with the hopes of establishing himself with a different trademark, that of the Europa Pro show winner. Stubb's is a shoe-in for the best upperbody in almost any contest he enters; it is merely his lack of leg size that is holding him back from a higher placement. If Stubbs has managed to pack at least 10 lbs onto his lower body, and can keep the same conditioning he displayed in the spring shows, look for him to move up several places; possibly even into first.
Fifth Place-Omar Deckard
The winner of last year's USA Championships has quickly become a force to be reckoned with in the IFBB. Following several subpar placements this year, Deckard hopes that the Europa Supershow will finally allow him to make the leap to the IFBB's elite. However, with so little time since his 10th place at the Colorado Pro, it is unlikely Deckard has had time to drastically improve his size or conditioning. However, if Deckard manages to expel the last bits of water from underneath his skin while simultaneously improving his lower body conditioning, look for him to get an Olympia qualification; that, land in the top 3.
Sixth Place-Derik Farnsworth
One of the smallest competitors in the show also could very well its most aesthetic. Farnsworth can't hope to stand next to the sizable competition of Harris, Taylor, and Stubbs; he'll have to win with his trademark lines and conditioning. If Farnsworth can keep that trademark conditioning, while adding some size overall to his frame, he could very well jump to the top 5.
Seventh Place-Eryk Bui
Much like Farnsworth, what Bui lacks in size, he more than makes up for perfectly placed muscle. However, he has had problems with conditioning in the past, and often times the lack of conditioning haunts bodybuilders; look for that fact to put him into the second tier at the Europa.
Eighth place-Evgeny Mishin
My personal favorite to upset several other competitors in this contest is going to really compare well to the big men in the show with his 6'0, 280lb structure. The reason I like Mishin (besides his obvious mass?) He has teamed up with the legendary Dave "Jumbo" Palumbo to take his conditioning to the next level. Dave's client list includes the 2006 Europa winner Toney Freeman and the 2007 Nationals Overall favorite Evan Centopani. He is known for bringing his athletes in shredded to the bone. If Mishin and Palumbo hit Mishin's conditioning as well as they did Freeman's and Centopani's look for Mishin to score a HUGE upset at the Europa and qualify himself for a trip to Las Vegas in September.
Ninth Place-Tricky Jackson
One of the relatively smallest competitors in the contest has to live and die by his aesthetics. Unfortunately for Tricky, I just don't see him fooling anyone into a higher placing despite the fact he has a beautiful physique.
Tenth Place-Randy Jackson, Sr.
A true hero in the contest, Randy just finished up a tour of duty in Iraq. He brings a consistent package that has served him well throughout his IFBB pro career. However that very consistency also means that he has lacked any real bodily improvement. Look for the army man to land in a deserved 10th placement.
Bonus Question: Have you ever attended the Europa Super Show? If so, what did you think of it and how was your experience? Was it what you thought it would be? How could it be made better?
Although I have never attended the Super Show, from everything I heard in the past 2 years it is quickly becoming one of the biggest events in bodybuilding. Combining the Arnold Classics proven expo and competition formula has been great for the Pariso's, competitors, and fans.
The Europa Show made a vast improvement this year. By being broadcast on Bodybuilding.com, it has gained an incalculable level of visibility, allowing everyday fans to be up close in personal to the bodybuilding action. In addition, its added 210lbs-and-under contest will be a welcome reprieve to some of the smaller IFBB athletes who have a hard time getting a just comparison next to the likes of Markus Ruhl or Dennis James. At the current rate, the Europa will quickly turn into a show the caliber of the Arnold or Olympia.

Roadpigjohn Europa Super Show prediction
"Give your opinion on who will be in the top ten and give full details for why you believe it will go down that way."
1-Silvio Samuel, at the moment he walk on Texas stage is going to be game over. Silvio is one razor sharp phenomenon, he has it all. Proportioned arms development, Hugh deltoids, deep lat thickness, awesome quads and a tiny little waist. He had striated glutes and hams and incredible separation that make him the undisputed winner of this show. The new Segio Oliva of bodybuilding Silvio Samuel is going to destroy the entire field of Texas with no mercy. No one is going to be even close. No one is expecting to see him come more dry and hard than ever and that?s going to be his strategy this time. Silvio wants to make his dream of getting his first IFBB victory a reality and with the help of Charles glass in his corner that dream will come true.
2-Omar Deckard is a contender for the title with an intimidating presence, balanced upper body, amazing arms structure, incomparable deltoids, striated chest, legs and smaller waist. His back is thick, wide and detailed. 2007 looks to be his year, the man many consider to be the Albert Beckles of the new era of bodybuilding is more than ready to prove that Texas is the place to present his A game.
3- Eryk Bui is going to be a surprise. With his great shape and symmetry he could place on top ones again. He had a nice back, with incredibly thick lats from the front and rear. Great striated hams and glutes rounded out the lower half. Being smaller, he needs to add some mass to be on the money. Just a little more overall size to his frame and will make him a complete package.
4-Michael Ergas, He has one of the most complete physiques on the planet. He has the roundest back with great detail and thickness. Quads, hams and calves are from another world. The thickest chest and major guns round a package that comes complete with the smallest waist of any of the mass monsters today. You won?t see a better classical poser on stage than him. I predict the Greek god Michael Ergas to nails his condition and get a top place for that.
5-Nathan Wonsley, Talking about Classic bodybuilders with great size and outstanding symmetry, Nathan is packed with full muscle bellies in all his muscles. He is the kind of athlete that knows how to come in shape coming show time, with spectacular hardness and dry from every angle makes Nathan one top contender for the title. His back is going to be ready and conditioned from top to bottom. His waist is very small and pretty tight reminiscence of Marvelous Melvin Anthony, he looks to be the next Iron Mike of bodybuilding.
6-Michal Kindred, a humongous bodybuilder packed with the kind of size just Dennis James or Markus Ruhl are capable of. Since his last appearance at the New York Pro in 2005, his been busy refining his ultra massive body. Kindred originally from the Czech Republic is focus right now to place high to make impact in the bodybuilding scene, so don?t be surprise if Kindred comes in sharper condition this time.
7-Tricky Jackson, after his disappointing outing at the Colorado Pro he must be looking for another chance to prove that he is a top contender for the title. His nuclear caliber guns, chest, sweeping quads and a back that goes all the way to his hipbones are going to be his arsenal to battle for the top. Other than that Tricky ultra demanding posing ability made him the man of the night.
8-Jeff Long, I predict him to be at least seven percent sharper, while still maintaining his fullness. His remarkable back and shoulders thickness gave his torso unbelievable depth. Trademark Arnold like arms would be in attendance as usual. Jeff is riding one hell of a wave into the 2007 contest season. His stage presence is going to be remarkable as always and he is pro caliber to be toe to toe with mass monsters and seasoned veterans. His posing routine is going to be spectacular, if crowd reaction counts for anything. He?s certainly would be one of the most improved athlete of the year and he?s just getting started.
9-Pablo Arevalo, former Mr. Peru and better known in his country as an Inca Warrior is going to be at his best and I predict him to be the driest he?s ever been. His lower back is over the top. Pablo would be full and diced with striated hams and glutes to prove it. If he added more size to his frame he is going to be up for the hype.
10-Christian Lobarede, speaking of mass monsters, despite his frightening appearance, former Mr. Chile needs to improve his condition to be on the money. His sheer size always makes him a threat. His deltoids are the most impressive of all the contestants. His traps almost pinched his ears when he hit his most muscular and his legs are unbelievable. Guns and chest are great but could be better. Christian is putting on size and in near future he?s going to play with the major players of the game.
Bonus Question: Have you ever attended the Europa Super Show? If so, what did you think of it and how was your experience? Was it what you thought it would be? How could it be made better?
I never visited Texas so for that reason, it would be very entertaining to go there and attend to a bodybuilding show like the Europa Super Show and fill the excitement of the venue and the live crowd. I heard good things about the promoters Betty and Ed Pariso about making sensational expos for the public in attendance, something very similar to the Arnold Classic Weekend.

Quincy has this show hands down. He has finally filled out that gigantic frame of his and is going to blow through everyone else on the Europa stage. Silvio looks awesome but have you ever seen videos of Franco and Arnold in a posedown?.. When two guys with similar muscularity, symmetry, and conditioning go head to head the bigger man will win. Arnold is to Franco as Quincy Taylor is to Silvio Samuel. I've been saying this on all the boards Silvio is gonna look like one of those little troll dolls next to QT. I hope that for his posing routine Silvio comes out with some tall pink hair and a little medallion is his belly cuz next to quincy he's gonna look like a troll doll. Will Harris gets second.

I heard good things about the promoters Betty and Ed Pariso about making sensational expos for the public in attendance, something very similar to the Arnold Classic Weekend.[/QUOTE]

1 - Joel Stubbs, i know a bold prediction, but this guys is just massive, i saw him last week and he is just huge, hes added a little size to his legs, his hams are huge.
2 - Will Harris, if he comes in dialed in, watch out, he is sheer mass and hes a monster.
3 - Silvio Samuel, his muscle bellies are so round, his busy schedule has taken a little of his size away but hes still big and round.
4 - Quincy Taylor, hes big, he just astheticly unappealing.

First off, I don't know how any of you have Ergas placing, given that he has dropped over 50 lbs in 6 weeks for the 210 and under class. He will be in an altogether different show. The guy looks miserable walking around the gym.
Top 5: Will Harris, Sylvio, QT, and there will be a darkhorse or two I am sure in this contest rounding out the competion. Sylvio with proportionate size and symmetry will be Will's real competition. QT has pretty much resigned to not winning this thing. He was embarassed to be posing next to Willl at the LA, and it will be more of the same this weekend. There will also assuredly be some darkhorses a la Kai Greene who will be in aethestically ridiculous but medically unadvisable condition to compete in the top 5.
The bottom line is that Will is in the best condition of his life, and the quality of muscle he is packing even drew attention from Jay Cutler, who expects to see him at the O.
The judges might choose to f*ck Will on this one, but he is going to shock the bodybuilding world this weekend, and take the freakshow to Vegas in September.

NoName, can you please copy and paste your predictions onto the Pro/Am Contest Blog (revising if need be)? Thanks! :)

Certainly.
Are you going to need bloggers for the Olympia? I'd love to if you have some positions available.
