View Full Version : how is this westside hybrid routine?

Ok im planning a routine and was wondering if you guys thought it would be solid, seeing as how you all train for strength like myself.

DAY1 ME BENCH DAY
1. ME BENCH EXERCISE for 1-3 rep max
2. db bench (either flat or incline or maybe decline) 3-4setsx6-12 reps
3.tricep assistance
4. light shoulders (raises, facepulls, etc)

Day2 LEGS/BACK
1.PL style squats or box squats at parallel in the 3-5 rep range
2.bent over rows
3.shrugs
4.ghrs
5.abs

day3 rest

Day4 DE BENCH
1. speed bench
2. incline bench
3. OH press
4. triceps
5. light raises

Day5 Back/Legs
1. Deadlifts
2. OLY squats
3. Pull-ups
4. Rows
5. Abs
6. Biceps/grip

Day6 and 7 rest

oh and these are my some ideas for ME bench exercises:

BB floor press with straight weight or chains
CG bench " "
Board press(1-3 boards) I bench raw " "
Incline bench with close grip " "


any others im leaving out?
