I'm excited to be taking Intraxcell again. The first time it worked very well. My bench went up 45 pounds in three weeks with the help of Intraxcell and a Russian bench program. I'm looking to reduce my recovery because I'm playing semi-pro football which gives me no time to be sore.

Day 1 with Intraxcell

Workout:

Flat bench: 135x10, 185x8, 3 sets 225x5, 2 sets 155x15
Incline bench: 3 sets 135x15
Dumbbell Fly: 3 sets 30x10

Tricep pushdown: 3 sets 100x15
Dumbbell extension: 3 sets 60x10
Dips: 3 sets of 15 with bodyweight

I was really excited to try steel edge so I took this today. I was very sore from my football game on saturday night so I didn't have a whole lot of energy to go to the gym. I took the steel edge and I felt like I was ready to go out on the football field and smack some heads around. It was a good energy and it stayed. I've tried other pre-workout supplements that gave me a good amount of energy but I crashed very quick. I never crashed with this stuff not even hours after my workout. I took three capsules of IntraXcell before I worked out. I didn't get the tingly feeling but when I took my post workout dose I did get the tingling feeling. Overall I had a pretty good workout for not having much motivation to hit the gym on a monday afternoon before I'd have to work.

Day 2

Pullups: 5 sets of 5 with 40 pound dumbbells

Bent rows: 3 sets, 185x15
Cable rows: 3 sets, 120x12

Today was a pretty good workout. I got a real good pump and my rest between sets was a lot less than usual. Again, I didn't get the tingling feeling until I took my postworkout dose. When I first took IntraXcell I took all 6 pills before my workout so I think I might start taking 4 before and 2 after.

Today I decided to take steel edge again. i realized how much I like this supplement and wish we got a month supply. Looks like I might have to buy it. I felt very strong today. I haven't felt this strong since last time I took IntraXcell. I noticed this when I was doing my sets on bench with 225. The weight felt light. My program had me doing 6 reps but I could have done 12.

Day 6

Squat: 2 sets, 185x15
Leg Press: 2 sets, 350x15
Leg Extension: 2 sets, 140x15
Leg Curl: 2 sets, 140x15
Seated Calves: 2 sets, 90x15

Today I started a new program. I decided to go with the HST training but I messed with it just a little bit. It was weird doing that many reps but I never fatigued and even going so high in reps I didn't have a problem with needing much rest in between sets.

Day 7

Flat Bench: 2 sets 185x15
DB Fly: 2 sets, 25x15
Bent Rows: 2 sets, 185x15
Pulldowns: 2 sets, 150x15
Rear Delts: 2 sets, 25x15
Side Laterals: 2 sets, 20x15
BB curl: 3 sets 55x15
Tricep extension: 3 sets, 80x15

I wasn't sure how well I'd do with 15 reps with upper body. I thought that I would fatigue pretty easy. That wasn't the case fortunatly. I had a real good workout, got a real good pump and could almost have no rest between sets.

Nice WO :)

How is your workout endurance? Are you seeing any decrease in rest time, or less fatigue during your sessions?

scutterd5
08-14-2007, 01:33 PM
My endurance has increased a lot. I never ususally do more than 10 reps... I like to stick between 4-8. I've never been able to do that many reps before without being burnt out after one set. But since I've been taking IntraXcell I've been able to do that many reps and have a short rest period inbetween sets without it effecting me in a bad way.

Nice! Yeah, I was pretty much the same pre-IntraXCell, staying within the 4-8 rep range, as I would usually fatigue very quickly. IntraXcell, brought so much more flexibility in my rep ranges, allowing me to get well into the 10,12 and sometimes even higher ranges if I wanted to.
