I have in the past had quite a few days where I would work out 2 or even 3 times a day with weights and even in my breif trial with this type of training I noticed some benefits . I noticed I could really focus and put everything into the few sets I was doing at a time in each mini session and in the long run moving more weight in the same amount of sets I would do condensed stretched out seemed to work. I know elite barbell athletes utilise multiple training sessions a day with weights. How would you assume they break up their sessions ? Does this type of training improve motor/muscle fiber recruiting units and skills? Is this type of training worth all the extra hassle ? Have you tryed this type of unorthodox training before and what were your results?
