Yeah, it feels nice, but it's not over yet. There's still too much junk to be too happy. Progress is progress though.
I'm feeling a little sick. I just got over a migraine that hit hard and fast and still feeling nauseous from it. I freaking hate migraines. I haven't even eaten dinner yet. Don't know if I will either. Maybe a little something. Kind of late to be eating too much though.

Thanks Chris. I get them too often. Luckily I popped some meds before it got too bad, otherwise they can put me out of commission for a couple hours. I've almost gone to the ER a couple times they were so bad.

Mood: Eh, same
Appetite Suppression: Same as before.
Thermogenic Effect: Haven't noticed increased sweating for a little while. I'm more cold than anything but the weather has been very mild getting down into the 50's at night.
Side Effects: Nothing to note.
Other Musings
My freaking shoulders are crap still. I can't lift anything. Very mad about it, but what can you do. I'll just keep trying to strengthen them.
I got a bad migraine yesterday before dinner, so I was unable to eat at all. It passed around 8:30 or so, which to me is too late to eat dinner so I just had some fruit.
OMG I love this song.

Way to hit the shoulders and lats Brandy! Numbers look good to me! Sorry to hear about the shoulder pain and migrane, that can ruin any workout/day and seems like you made the best out of the situation. As someone who can relate to shoulder pain, it definitly sucks to be doing any workouts when your shoulders aren't 100%. Has this been a nagging thing for you?
Also, when are we going to eat ice cream? I feel like ice cream.....
Sorry to hear about the shoulder pain. Im assuming the joint supplement isnt working as well as you hoped :(.

My shoulders have been weak and creaking for quite a long time. They're just so weak and it's hard to strengthen them when it hurts to work them too much.
LOL...I'd love to have that ice cream with you, but I don't think it would do my diet or my body any good. Perhaps some fat free frozen yogurt. Mmmmmmm that does sound yummy.

Well it's more my fault than anything cause I haven't been taking it everyday. I forget a lot and I hate taking tons of pills. Guess I should either take it like I am supposed to or quit whining. :o

Little update. I only got about 3.5 hrs sleep last night yet I don't feel really tired. At least not now. I'm having a really bad problem with insomnia. You would think someone who is used to going to bed at the latest 11 pm would be dead tired at 3am and fall right to sleep. Well, not me. I didn't fall asleep until almost 4am and got up at 7:30 by two rowdy boys not wanting to be quiet. This has been going on for over a week now.
Another weird thing is I woke up this morning and my knee is all messed up. If it bends more than a few degrees I get this excruciating pain running through it. I have no clue what I did to it. I just woke up and that's how it was. How can you hurt your knee when sleeping? I'm hoping it feels better soon :(
My son got back safe and sound last night. I really missed him. He's too busy playing with his brother whom he hasn't seen for a month. Anyway, that's it for now.
Glad your son got back safe but I am really sorry to hear about both the knee and sleep issues. I dont really have much advice about helping with the sleep. All I know is that it sucks. However, because of my crappy knee, I have alot of advice for the knee pain. Try taking a gallon ziplock bag filled with ice, and then saran wrap that to your knee. Then take some tape and just secure the saran wrap tight enough to hold the ice in place. After about 45 minutes of icing, it should feel better. Try that once or twice a day.

Actually, now my knee isn't hurting anymore. It was really weird. I guess I just slept on it wrong and it took a little bit to work the kink out. Tiredness is starting to hit a little bit.

I slept like a freaking rock last night. Passed out around 11pm and got to sleep in until 9am. Pure bliss.
OT-hubby will only be gone another 2-3 wks, then home every night so that's awesome. I will be looking for a job again soon, probably when the boys go back to school. More than likely I'll be working 2nd shift so daycare is cut down to a minimum. Sucks, but you do what you have to. That will also mess up my training a little, but I'll work it out. Huge county fair started today and we are going Sat. Pretty excited cause those things are tons of fun. Looks like Sat will be my cheat day :o Sun I have to go to my Nephews b-day party, uh oh. Might be a bad weekend eating wise.....lol.

Quick update. I think I pulled a muscle in my stomach. How, I have no idea really, but it's hurts like hell and I am walking bent over. Needless to say there will be no training or cardio until it gets better. I have some left over muscle relaxers from last time I pulled a muscle, so hopefully they help. I'm just going to take it easy for now. :(

Thanks. I've pulled many muscles in my day. Mostly my neck or back. Once a calf (sp?) from lifting and boy did that suck. I couldn't even straighten my leg out, but luckily the doc gave me some good pills for it. This sucks cause you don't really realize how much you use your stomach until you can't. My kids are saying I look like an old lady walking around....lol. Back to laying on the couch.

I actually pulled a muscle in my stomach to yesterday. Doing tricep pushdowns believe it or not! Not bad enough to stop my workout, I really felt it an hour later though. Worse thing is though nothing you can really do for it, messaging your stomach just doesn't do anything......for me atleast! Good idea on tkaing it easy.

You trying to copy me or what ;) That sucks for sure. I would take it easy or at least be careful so you don't make it worse. I'm just lucky I have left over meds cause I don't have insurance currently with hubby getting a new job. They don't do benefits until 90 days :( So I am trying not to get sick or hurt.

I'm feeling a little bit better, but still tender. If I stay still it's ok, but as soon as I start moving around it starts pulling and cramping. So I figure I'll just give it all the rest it needs so I don't make it worse. Almost feels like having a c-section again.

Update: I'm feeling a lot better pain wise. It's still a little slow going, but I think the muscle relaxers are doing their job. I feel less tightening and spasming going on compared to a few days ago. I'm not walking bent over as much. I just have to be careful when getting up from sitting or lying and such. I'm still going to take it easy. I'm thinking this week might be a wash, which sucks but health is more important than anything else. Good news is my weight has not increased at all. I'm watching my diet carefully since I can't workout. No pre-post meals right now either. Bear with me a little longer MST. :)

Energy: One thing I am finding out is the longer I take these the more sensitive I become to the stims. I can't take more than two without having sleep issues or feeling jittery and I have to eat no later than 30 min after taking them.
Mood: Still no noticeable change/improvement in mood.
Appetite Suppression: This is the strong effect for me. Does wear off later in the day. Would be great if I could take a second dose.
Thermogenic Effect: Nothing noticeable really.
Side Effects: Sleep issues are the only concern I have.
Other Musings
Well, finally I am back to it. Seems like forever. Strength was okay, but it did take me longer to finish the workout. Cardio sucked, seemed to take forever to finish. I am feeling pretty sore today, which I expected. I should be done by the end of this week, then a final update after. I've noticed a little slimming, but nothing drastic. It's really a struggle getting these last lbs off. My body just doesn't seem to want to let go. :(

I can't even recall how I got turned onto them. I think I heard Enter Sandman on the radio one day when I was younger and thought it was awesome.
What sucks is that a lot of people think they sold out, but people have to realize is that if you are truly into your music that over time you'll adapt and evolve into something different. Different doesn't have to mean worse. I personally love the way they went. People are fickly creatures anyway.

I'll be back with a final review in a couple days. SO stay tuned for that. Been a fun ride. I'll probably lay off doing a log for awhile. Let others shine ;) I want to sincerely thank all the people who have continued to support me and my goals. It means a lot and helps so much. You know who you are. Great big thanks to you all. :)

Final Review of Shred XS Hardcore
Energy: For the first couple of days the energy kind of hit me a little hard. It made me feel jittery and a little anxious. About the 4th day into it that calmed down and it provided me with a nice steady energy that lasted for hours. As the days went on I became a little sensitive to them again and could only think it had to do with the adrenal support Shred provides and that it made me more sensitive to the stim effects. Not really a bad thing but I would for sure have to eat no more than 30 min later or the jittery sick feeling would start. Second dose I was doing did not effect me that way at all. For me personally this stuff is a pretty strong stim. I would like to note that I was off pretty much all stims like caffeine a good month or so prior to the start of this log and rarely had any during.
Mood: I never really noticed any positive changes in mood during the entire log. Truthfully I noticed the opposite. For awhile, although I never really commented on it I began feeling quite irritable, almost depressive qualities. It was strange and I cannot absolutely tie it to the Shred, but do feel it might have had some role in it. Hydroxycut back in the day did the same to me, but much worse where I had to stop taking it. Anyway, this did nothing in the mood department.
Appetite Suppression: This was a great appetite suppressant for me. Sometimes I had to force myself to eat what I needed. Very little snacking or cravings which was a big plus to me. It wore off later in the day around dinner, but a second dose after lunch or so would keep it going. Great appetite suppressant.
Thermogenic Effect: For a period of time I really felt the thermo effects, especially during cardio. I would sweat buckets which I never really do. These effects kind of wore off at other times besides cardio. I would also notice that into the end of my first set I would start sweating which never happens with me normally. Usually it would start around the third exercise or so.
Side Effects: Unfortunately my sleep was effected a lot using Shred. At first I thought I was taking the last dose too late so took it earlier with no decrease in sleep pattern problems. I eventually dropped the second dose and only took 2 first thing in the morning. I still continued to have difficulty falling asleep, so I started taking an OTC sleep aid to combat this and it worked great. I just didn't want to have to take a sleep aid every night and get used to it. I want to note that I am sensitive to stims to a certain extent, especially since I gave up my coffee addiction.
Fat Loss: This is the area I am torn on. My weight jumped around a lot during this log. It went as high as 147 down to 139 never really settling down. I've never monitored my sodium intake so that could have something to do with it. To be technical as I am sitting still at 140 that means I only lost 1 lb, which is crappy. However, with the way my weight bounced around it's really hard to tell of the fat loss. I did notice a slimming around my waist particularily my love handle region. I cannot say that this was the best fat loss supp cause of my results. I do however, think things might have progressed more if I was able to take that second dose without side effects. Unfortunately not everything will work for everyone.
Final Thoughts: Overall I think this is a pretty solid product stim wise and for an appetite suppresant. To me the adrenal support they claim is great. I've never become more sensitive to a product the longer I take it. Usually it's the opposite. The energy is pretty clean with no real crashing. I kind of wished there was a crash then maybe I could have gotten to sleep better ;) I wouldn't count on it for improving mood, at least not for me.
I say give it a shot especially if you are looking for a pretty strong stim effect. Only reason for me not to buy is the sleep issues. I don't recall it effecting others the same. Might be better suited to men or someone not so sensitive to the stims.
Thank You
I would like to sincerely thank Millenium Sports for the opportunity to try out their product. I had a fun time.
And thank you to those of you that followed along and showed your support. It really helps keep a person on track and to keep going no matter the obstacles. A sincere Thank You to my BB.com Friends :)

Thanks Nate. If a company is willing to give me a free product to try I do my best to comensate them back. I'll probably take some time off doing a log since it can be so time consuming, but there will most def be one in the future. Thanks for the never ending support. Much appreciated.
