*Update since all my info was lost.
I have decided to switch over to training for Bench only for the time being. Due to lack of time in trying to complete my degree in Accounting, my wife and I preparing for our first child and training, things are starting to suffer. I am sure I could continue be a good powerlifter, but I would rather try and become a great bench competitior.
I will be benching every 5 days with a periodization routine and to keep up the squat and dead hitting them once every 10 days.
My first goal is to hit a double body weight bench at my next meet in March, and then move on and crack the 500lb barrier I have been chasing for some time. I am going to try and drop my weight down to compete in lighter classes.
Thanks to all for the support and comments.
Standby to watch some numbers go up, I will post video and pictures of all the Pr's hit.

Thanks IronBender. This is the first time I have ever thought of becoming a bench specialist, but shouldnt be too long, when I am done with school and set in the career, I see full meets in the future, but until then, I am going to take my bench higher than ever before.

Thanks. I got down to 246.5 for my last meet, but went back up to 267 at my heavest. I would eventually like to compete in the 220lb class being a bench specialist. So this means I will probably have to get down to about mid 230's, the rest I can make in water weight.

Today felt great, I am stepping up the training to hit the numbers. I got a partner to bench with and today was the first time. It was nice to have someone else there going for the same goal, a huge bench. He is also a former Marine and now a Deputy Sheriff, so we get along well and have alot in common. Why? It was clearly a joke, and I wasnt aware of it being in violation of any rule. Im not striking back at you, I'm just asking a question. I just think that it's ridiculous to be reprimanded for making a joke. Maybe if 2THICK found it offensive id be able to see where your coming from, but he never made a comment about it. ????
