WHAT is wrong with my elbow!

i had some elbow pain after back day about three weeks ago, i was doing wide grip pulldowns, barbell rows, a little heavy but nothing crazy. come the end of the back workout my elbow was on fire and I could not do my biceps routine. three weeks later i am STILL getting elbow pain when i fully extend my arm and put my hand in a palm-up position.

I have seen my orthopedist and he took a look at it and tested my strength and he said it was ok to him. the pain comes and goes can anyone help me ?

If it hurt during back exercises, the chances are good that you got out of your groove on a rep or two. Was it the barbell rows that did it to you? Was it a stinging type feeling?

Whatever caused it, don't try to train through pain. Keep note of how long it hurts, and report back to us on it -- that will tell a lot about what might be wrong.

Where exactly is the pain?

it seems to be when my arm is fully stretched out, and hurts more when i turn my wrist away from my body. i can do tricep pulldowns and certain exercises with no pain, but simple things like pulling a door open or even flexing my bicep causes pain, the pain is near the "funny bone" area. if i had to locate it. there is point tenderness in that area.

So it is on the back aspect of the elbow? More towards the inside of the elbow?

yea the inside, its more the inside of my forearm, i think its tendonitis

Possibly a medial epicondylitis / golfers elbow.
