And ate some chocolate! :(
I feel like the 9 pounds I lost went straight back onto my ass.
Starting over again tomorrow.
Don't stress, it will only set you back. Everything in moderation is ok, if you deprive yourself too much you could end up snapping and giving up.

I agree acd one little splurge doesn't affect you as badly as you think
Don't stress Misty we all have little splurges every now and then you can't live everyday eating carrots and celery!

True, true. Hey its all good, its not about the splurges, its how ya bounce back from them that matters. Like lulu said, every once in awhile its not a bad thing, cant eat veggies and chicken every day. If it makes you feel any better I had a 20oz bottle of Pepsi today:(

It's just a little chocolate, just a little slipup. Take it moment by moment, just because you splurged once doesn't mean the whole day is a failure.

Aww I know how that is, trust me, been there... done that... more than once.. more than 100 times probably lol As long as you portion it and dont go over the top by bingeing you have nothing ot worry about. Its good to let your body get a change once in a while im sure itll help reboost your metabolism. Good luck and keep up the hard work!

Tomorrow is a new day, and another opportunity for success!
btw...I ate a little chocolate too. Indulge in your cravings just a teeny tiny bit, and it will help keep you from binging later.

Why is it that you have a problem that you ate chocolate? You say it like it's a bad thing. If it's a bad thing, then why did you do it? If you're on a diet, would you say that you cheated? If so, who did you cheat on? I'll tell you who you didn't cheat on, all of us.
You have to remember that it's your body and if you're trying to improve it, it's for yourself. If you think that it's going to hurt anybody else if you don't make the changes you want, it won't hurt anybody else. That means that the longer you prolong the process to move forward, only you're missing out. So the choice is yours and nothing is going to happen unless you have your own mind in check. This is something that affects your life, so treat it with the high priority it deserves -30-

The Occassional cheat (in moderation) is okay...it keeps you sane and helps you stay on track. The feeling of excess weight is a mind game...Your good, girl! you never stopped so you don't need to start over again.

dont worry about it, what you should do is set aside a certain day every now and then to have on cheat mal/snack,
if oyu get a craving and eat early you have to be strict enough to wai till the nesxt time.
rember you are now shaping your body, when you get the results you want and ppl are always complimenting you, you get to take the credit, however if you give up there is no one and nothing to blame but your self.
you get what you put in, and people get what they deserve

I don't know what your typical diet strategy is, but an occasional cheat day or cheat meal is NOT a bad thing. Just don't go overboard. Certainly don't feel bad about having a bit of chocolate. :) Congrats on the 9lb loss, btw! Now, get back to your normally scheduled diet and excercise.

We all make mistakes in our diet, lifting, cardio, etc, etc... just dig a hole, put the mistake in it, cover the hole and keep strong.
Chin up hun.

A cheat meal is in my studies and to my knowledge important in diet (habitual eating) which helps maintain a healthy mind & body while performing your routine cardio and/or resistance training. This also keeps your metabolic rate in check... your body needs something 'unexpected' tossed in to balance itself.
