Depends, yesterday was my birthday so I had an all out cheat day...breakfast with myself (friend called from Pakistan at 3:30 am and I couldn't fall back asleep), lunch with family, then dinner and time with friends.

Usually just a meal or a dessert, just depends on what I feel like. Usually I get Chipotle as a cheat.

I eat 42 meals a week. I give myself 2 cheat meals a week a breakfast and a lunch. A whole cheat day for me makes me really sick and its hard to recover, and I get lazy, and I won't workout, and I'll feel like a pig for eating so much crap in one day. So I have my cheat meals early in the day, and I eat my next meals after them perfect...timing and food :)

paulpfiction

pretty much my normal meals consist of high protein and fat

so come time to cheat like today i need them carbs i crave...i just wonder how much is too much for cheating...

Why don't you add some brown rice to your diet every once in a while so you don't crave carbs?? I usually will eat brown rice every third day or so and that helps a lot...You don't eat veggies?

paulpfiction
07-15-2007, 07:31 PM

nah, im just poor right now, and i have a lot of chicken eggs and beef in my fridge so im stuck eating that till i get money. once my garden ripens ill eat veggies everyday

I'm in Cali and have a garden. You just have to know what to grow when. I've got tomatoes and a variety of peppers growing right now. That's it for this year though, some major back yard remodeling means everything is pretty much tore up except for the tiny place that is already finished.

Oh really? How neat. Are gardens hard to maintain? Cause I'm pretty much not home for 12 hours or more each day, like could it be a weekend thing to do?

if you can control the weeds its not that bad...maybe water it once in awhile...it rains a lot here so its not as bad for me...i was gone for a month, came back and my garden was infested with weeds...i pulled them all out then put down an organic fertilizer/ weed preventer...now i just sit back and watch it grow

anb1683
07-15-2007, 09:58 PM
Yeah I dont remember the last time it rained...Kinda miss it, can't wait for winter already. But how many days a week do you have to weed it (yeah I know nothing about gardening) like once? and then like water it every other day?

well i weeded mine that one time when i got back...then put the weed preventer on it...which seems to be doing a good job keeping the weeds off...there are a couple here and there that ill rip up when i see them..but its not bad

and dont talk about winter...winter here is horrible...

Oh that's not bad. How long do the veggies take to grow?

Winter here is like summer just cooler, and it rains like twice (rain to me is a sprinkle lol) the nights get cold like 60 or so, sometimes down to 40. I think its like 75 right now and its 10 pm...
I wish it was a little more like winter, maybe a little snow. I love the holidays and it just doesnt feel like christmas with 80 degree weather.

Actually, really cold weather is something people should experience at least once, IMHO. Yes, it's miserable to have to actually travel in and deal with long-term, but going outside after a snowfall when it's 30 below and the air is amazingly clear and feels like icewater for the lungs...it can be rather invigorating. For the first 30 seconds, anyway. Longer than that and your cheeks start to freeze, the breath in your nose condenses and you get snot all over your face. Then it's time to go in!

Almost. I passed a cow barn and a strip mall once, so that should be close enough. ;)

Though we've had a few -55 days ourselves in recent memory, so I can speak from personal experience, too.

Ohhhh, Nutella. A Nutella and peanut butter sandwich. Damn that sounds good right now.

I like DiGiorno's Three Meat pizza in the single serving. It's 960 calories for the whole pizza, filling, delicious, and $3.50, yet not so utterly outrageous that I can't eat another couple meals as well. Plus, the last time I had one, it was after a 48-mile bike ride, so it basically got burned up the second I ate it.

Nope. Weeding is something I do weekly, or even less sometimes. Watering just depends on what your growing and how blazing hot it gets. I have soaker hoses so I don't have to stand out there all the time.

As for the cheat meal vs day... Saturday was mine. Friend's bachelorette party. I allowed myself... gasp... ALCOHOL! The diet was pretty tight all day, so that was the only cheat... and boy did I!
