We did a small amount of sign language in primary school I can remember the alphabet and a few little words, but nothing of any note.

We used to have a big group of guys come in to one bar I worked at, I got to know the sight for 'last drinks' pretty damn quick otherwise they would never leave at the end of the night!

Haha! That is too much fun. It is amazing how we can all pick up on certain signs that stick with us!

That is awesome, kids learn everything so fast.
makes me want to go learn how to sign.
Sometimes I don't like to talk and if I could just sign I may be a lot happier. I guess the other person may need to know it too, but whatever.

truthfully, you can learn the language by just doing asl1/2
2 classes a week w a good instructor....6 months you'll b able to hold a decent convo and have confidence

Very different actually, really its very easy to learn, once you get past the nervousness. it helps a lot if your instructor is deaf. by the end of aslII everyone knows how 2 have a basic convo, and more.

Why would I be nervous?? I'm naturally a big dork when it comes to things, but not nervous...I'll have to look into classes, I'm looking for something new to learn, i'm bored.

Oh...I see. yeah i dont have fear of talking to people like that, or presentations, I was always the leader in the group. LOL the main speaker.
So you have to give presentations in sign language...like on subjects or just say sentences
