Outside of the fancy banner I'm not about to add a bunch of vB code to this log.

I want to give a special thanks to Chuck Diesel for allowing me to log this product.

Height - 5'7

Weight - 140 lbs (last I checked a few days ago)

Training routine - Specialized routine made by Derek "Beast" Charlebois. It will focus on lower rep ranges 3-6 with 3 sets each.

Diet - I'm shooting for about 3,000 calories with 210 grams of protein/353 grams of carbs/83 grams of fat

Expectations - I'm not looking to be huge at all, but if this product will help me add some weight to my lifts I would be happy. I've lost a ton of strength due to not training consistently for 6 months now, so I do want to get back to where I used to be. I'm not too concerned with my weight because I would rather just be strong than bulky. :)

I would like to be able to increase my big 3 lifts to 150 lbs for the BB bench press, 185 for squats, and 245 for the deadlift.

I will begin "reverse loading" on Sunday which is an off day for me. :)

Edit - I forgot my current supplements

NOW Omega 3 fish oil
Xtreme Formulations Ultra Peptide
ALLMAX Quickmass (I just use this stuff so I can get rid of it)

You know I don't like working out so I rather just have a log filled with extra bs.

I just took my first serving of NOS Ether on an empty stomach. After checking out the ingredients I really thought this was going to have a funky taste to it, but to my surprise it was actually good. It does resemble 7-UP like Chuck D said, but it isn't really overpowering. As long as this gives me some good results I'm not too concerned about if it is nasty or not. For all of those who need a taste rating I'd give this a solid 8/10.

Edit - Just took my second serving before my 2nd meal. Nothing really to report right now, so I'll holla back tomorrow.

Alright it has been a while since I have been to the gym, so I did notice my strength is way down from where it used to be. I'm not using that as an excuse, but I know I need to be consistent to get where I need to be.

My official weight is 140.8 lbs as of this morning so that will be my starting point as well as these exercises here.

Bench Press 115x6 115x5 115x3 Since I didn't complete 3 sets with 6 reps each I will use the same weight next time.

Military Press (smith machine) 50x6 50x6 50x3 Same thing applies here I'll use the same weight next week, but I'll use the barbell instead of the smith machine.

Close grip bench press 85x4 74x5 75x6 I really struggled to get my form right on this exercise. For some reason I just couldn't get the "feel" right until my very last set.

Dips BW+15x4 BW+15x4 BW+15x2 I really had hell with these since I was using a hyperextension piece of equipment for dips. These just didn't feel right the entire time but I pushed through it. Next time I'll make sure to use the proper "dipping" equipment.

Overall I was happy with my workout. I ended up getting through my entire workout in about 40 minutes or so. I tried hard to keep my rest times short, but I may have pushed myself too hard which could have led to a lot of my early failures with my sets. :)

Today is my 2nd day of the "reverse load" and I consumed two scoops of NOS Ether post-workout (the taste really isn't bad at all I really want to give it a 10/10 but some folks would complain if they tried it and it didn't taste like candy), so one more day of the "reverse load" and I'm on to regular dosing.

I really dont want people to add new products when doing a sponsored log. So if you havent been using r4w before u started NOS ETHER, dont start it while on NOS ETHER sponsored log. They are both performance products so there would be no way to tell if ur training is improving because of NOS ETHER or the stack. I guess the black hole is ok.

You said you havent been working out, how long u been out the gym?

I've been going on and off but I haven't been training consistently for about 6 months now.

I feel like I have been hit by a MAC truck :)

I had to improvise on my workout today, because I didn't have a proper pull-up bar and my body was super sore so I couldn't even knock out enough pull-ups to do ****.

Wide-grip Lat Pulldowns 100x6x3
Bent Over Barbell Row 115x6x3
Barbell Shrugs 135x6x3
Barbell Curls (performed on E-Z curl bar and only weight is counted) 50x6 50x4 50x3
Reverse Curl 45x6x3

Today wasn't a bad workout at all. It seemed like I was super focused once again today so I was knocking out my sets in record time. Some of my workouts suffered from my previous workout on Monday, so that may be something to take into consideration if I am going to continue this workout routine.

This will be my final day on the "reverse load" method then I will be using 2 scoops pre-workout and one scoop post-workout on workout days and 2 scoops on non-workout days. After this workout I'm welcoming the taste of NOS Ether right about now because I'm thristy as all hell. :)

I believe I was finished in about 35 minutes no more than 40 minutes. That may be normal for most folks, but I normally take long rest breaks in between sets.

My body feels like an airplane just hit me:) today is my off day I decided to skip the cardio today and just try to relax some. I really need to rethink my training program because training chest/shoulders/triceps heavy on Monday and trying to train my back on Tuesday just doesn't seem to be a smart idea in my book anymore. I think I'll research a PLing routine or something of that nature to fully take advantage of the NOS Ether effects since all I'm really concerned about is strength gains.

Today I'll take a scoop before breakfast and one scoop some time when I'm at work. I've noticed in other logs people tend to get stim-free energy, but I'm just not feeling it right now. :( Maybe things will change since I am finished with the reverse load, but I will just see what happens as the log progresses.

I posted a routine I use on someone's NOS ETHER log (dont remember), but anyway if ur going to destroy or go heavy on something like chest, back or quads, the next day its better to go light on an opposite area or take the day off. So you should do like heavy chest and next day off, or next day light quads. The way its going now is ur back will never get the work it needs.

edit:

If ur trying to bench more, squat more and deadlift more try to go on a 3 day or 4 day max split, chest, delts, tri's, back, bi's, quads, hams calves. A good rule is 2 days off after heavy legs, dont split delts and chest and dont split back and bi's. Not many powerlifters bench on one day and then train delts 2 days later, or deadlift on one day and train bi's the next day. I do a 3 day split and alternate heavy light, so my split would be like this:

monday: heavy chest, light tri's, delts
tues: off
wed: light back, heavy bi's
thurs: off,
friday: heavy quads, light hams and calves (I dont train hams and calves heavy)
sat: off
sun: off (2 days off after killing legs) or maybe some cardio
monday: light chest, heavy tri's, delts
tues: off
wed: heavy back light bi's

heavy back is like dedlifts, light back is lat pull downs or rows no less than 6 reps

heavy chest is flat bench, light is incline dumbells

light bi's is alt dumbell curls heavy is staight bar curls etc.

thats how I split/train for max strength, power and lean muscle mass gains.

Good **** Chuck. I'll check that out and tweak my routine. Would you consider heavy around 3-6 reps and light about 8-12 reps?

Well "heavy" is any set of reps where you have to lift with "power" such as proper breathing and explosion out the "bottom." Light is smooth, even motion such as when u train bi's. You can use, "heavy" weight with bi's, but its not good to train them "heavy" because u wont get a response from grunting out 5 reps on bicept curls, versus 6-8-whatever smooth reps.

So heavy refers to more of compound joint exercise in terms of the movement of the exercise. For instance me benching 135lbs for 10 is smooth, something like rowing a boat.....light. Benching 385 for 5 is "heavy" like picking up a medicine ball and throwing it.

So going heavy is def. for everyone. I only go really low on reps like 3 or 4 with bench or deadlift and maybe squat. I train tri's "heavy" but the reps are not less than 10.

This is just a random product question for Chuck.

R4W shouldn't be taken after you eat fiberous carbs like oats and what not. If someone has their workout after meal #1 what would be a decent carb source to use, so it doesn't diminish the effects of R4W?

With past formulas we found out it was blocking the absorbtion for some reason. Im taking more like oats mixed with protein in a drink. Just eat the meal like 1 hour before the r4w.

Someone went around to all the NOS ETHER logs and voted them 1 star. It always happens when someone does logs on GET DIESEL products and they have a 5 star rating.

Alright that sounds good. I usually grind up oats and place them in a protein drink pre-workout.

Blah, people always have to do some ignorant crap like that.

Chuck have you tried combining this NOS Ether with DT 2010 or DT Hardcore?

Im on NOS ETHER + 4 DTH a day. The DTH use to give me good training intensity, but I still didnt want to workout, but when I got back on the NOS ETHER it kind of clears my mind before I go in there, and all the weights fell light(like i usually warm up with the 50lb barbell for 12 reps curls and the other day I grap the 50 and it felt like 30lbs so I used 75lbs), also on the stack makes me hard as an "oak tree" down low.

I seem to really have my dates wrong in my updates for some reason.

Anyway, I decided to take another day off because my body just hasn't recovered at all. Today would have been leg day, but I don't want to go in the gym and give it a half ass effort because my back is incredibly sore. I have already taken my "am" scoop of NOS Ether and I will take my second scoop around 6 pm or so tonight.

Ladies love the "oak tree" feeling.

Chuck when I finish up this routine with the split that you posted in here could I PM you to see how you like it?

I seem to really have my dates wrong in my updates for some reason.

Anyway, I decided to take another day off because my body just hasn't recovered at all. Today would have been leg day, but I don't want to go in the gym and give it a half ass effort because my back is incredibly sore. I have already taken my "am" scoop of NOS Ether and I will take my second scoop around 6 pm or so tonight. Tomorrow I will go train legs then change up my routine just to prevent these unnecessary off days from going heavy two days in a row.

Took my second dose of NOS Ether about 2 hours ago. I don't have anything to report, but I'm just posting that took my last dose for the day.

 Where is this "stim-free" energy that I keep reading about?

envy, for me i feel the "non-stim" energy being aparent when I take doses that aren't before the gym, preWO dose, doesn;t help me workout intensity due to it taking away my clear focus that i need preWO. HOWEVER, when i take ETHER before taking a shower, or going out at night I notice the increased energy and enjoy it.

I'm just saying I notice it, you might not. For me, idealy, I think Ether would be best suited for postWO and use of a nootropic product, or a preWO matrix such as Primal 30min PreWO might be a far superior (and less expensive) stack.

Stacking ETHER with beta-alanine, possibly stims and definetely nootropics would probably be where it's at as far as a great strength stack.

Anyway, on your 2nd week may I suggest you switch dips/cgbp with military press. I think this way your shoulders/tris would be less worn out when you work them.

I decided to deviate from my proposed routine that I listed at the start of the log. I just really wanted to squat today....and squat a lot. I stuck to the low reps principle, but I needed to make a "baseline" for my squats since it has been about 6 months since my last leg workout. Here goes the numbers...

BB Squats 135x6x3 145x6x2
Leg Extensions with a 10 second negative 6x2 (I won't list the weight since machines vary)

I took 2 scoops of NOS Ether 1 hour pre-workout and I did have a surge of energy like 15 minutes after I downed my drink. I really don't have much to update today since this whole week was just finding my "baseline" lifts so I can try to improve them during this log. I am about to take my last scoop of NOS Ether in a few minutes so that is about it. :)

Alright.....I just finished my workout and my goodness I feel bloated from consuming a ton of water pre and intra workout. I'm upset that I didn't hit my goal I set for my bench press, but I am happy that I was using perfect form each and every rep. It seems that my bench press is stagnant, but I will work hard to get through this rut that I am in.

Flat BB Bench Press 115x6x2 115x3 I was pretty gassed during my last set. Maybe I should rest a tad bit longer, but I was happy with my strength. I was able to push out the last 2 reps on my 3rd set even though I was damn near close to failure.

Tricep Pushdowns 2 sets 8 reps each. I won't list the weight since it varies from machine to machine. I noticed a nice pump and some vascularity once I finished up with this exercise.

Seated DB Military Press 35x6x2 It really hit me how much strength I lost. My previous best was like 55 lbs in each hand, so this gives me something to strive for.

Rear Delt Flye 25x6x2 I supersetted these with the military press and it turned out nice.

Notes about the workout. I noticed some kind of "pain" sensation when I was performing the tricep pushdowns in my right elbow. I'm not sure what it was, but I'll keep my eye out for it. I have some Cissus somewhere in my house, but I really don't want to use anything like that right now, but if it starts to hinder my workouts then I'll do what I need to do.

It seems like I am constantly thristy throughout the day, but that really caused an issue because I was/am super bloated right now to the point where it was hard for me to take down my NOS Ether post-workout. I will have to watch my water intake around my workout just so this doesn't cause a hinderance in the future.

Goals for next heavy chest workout. I really want to hit 125 on the bench press so that is what I am shooting for.

I think I'll do some cardio tomorrow either on the treadmill or I'll run with my dog.

Deadlift 135x8 185x8 185x3 155x8

I breezed through this workout like it was nothing. I completed my entire workout in 30 minutes and that was with my partner as well. I have noticed that my post-workout dose of NOS Ether destroys my appetite and really gives me stomach problems. I'm not sure what this is caused by, but it is throwing off my post-workout nutrition schedule and it is pretty irritating. Today was an off day so I just took my doses of NOS Ether as recommended. Normally I would give some kind of two week review or something like that, but I think my ratings would be skewed due to my time off from the gym. One thing I can comment on is the lack of muscle fullness that I normally experience from creatine products. I still have about 3 weeks to go in this log, so that may change, but I think it was just worth noting.

I didn't have any stomach problems from my post-workout dose of NOS Ether today, which is good to know.

I did decide that my updates are going to focus on the big 3 lifts, because I doubt anyone cares how much weight I use doing tricep pushdowns. :p I'm not sore at all today so I should have some fun lifting tomorrow.

Today was just a weird day in the gym all together. I didn't really feel quite as strong, but I pushed through my workout with ease. My main goal today was to hit my deadlift and my final set was 175x5 with good form. I'm sure I could have added on about 10 more lbs or so, but I am not sure if I would have hit 5 reps.

My recovery has vastly improved since the start of this log it very well could be from the NOS Ether and if that is the case I'm happy with that. I do need to up my calories some more and cut out the almost every other day fast food trip for meal #2 once I head to work. I'll work on the diet aspect tonight and I should be pretty consistent (and also save $5 a day) once I cut out the fast food and eat something else before work.

I do think I found out the reason that I have been so bloated and I do not think it is from the NOS Ether. I am going to cut back on carbs some (especially that post-workout maltodextrin crap) because I seem to be more carb sensitive than your average ectomorph. I'll probably lower my carbs by 50 grams or so and disperse those calories into my protein and fat macros.

Edit - I do want to mention that I used about 3/4 scoop of Ready 4 War 6.0 pre-workout because I was yawning constantly and that woke me the f*ck up. I do believe that R4W and NOS Ether would be a potent "stack" to use, but I would have to consume R4W like 30 minutes after my meal due to the taurine content. Damn taurine gives me mud butt if I take it too far away from a meal for some reason. I hope you aren't mad that I used R4W Chuck, but it is a damn good product. :p R4W 6.0 > R4W 5.0 any day of the week. :)

thats cool, I get messages on the forum at my webpage about people saying they love 5.0 over 6.0 so I guess it depends on the person....to me there is no dif, they both give me good endurance but if i take 2 much 5.0 I feel cracked out.

Some no tallent ass clown(s) is/are going around rating all my indept logs on NOS Ether and DTH real low like one star and all the logs from people not keeping good logs with 4/5 stars Its pissing me off. I have no idea why ur log as 3 stars which means alot of people had to rate it 1/2 stars. Whatever ETHER lives.

I seem to respond well to a 1/2 scoop of 6.0 just fine, but my reaction was different with 5.0. I do like the "in the zone" feeling I get with 6.0 plus I never have to use a full scoop. :)

I'm not too concerned with the rating system or anything like that. I'm not trying to win any popularity contest or anything like that so I don't really give a **** if this log goes down to 1 star.

I decided to knock out this update early so I can limit my time on the boards later on. I've already taken my am dose of NOS Ether and I plan on taking my PM dose in about 5 hours or so. My quads are a little sore, but I do think my recovery is just about back to what it used to be months ago. I haven't weighed or measured myself since the start of this log, but that is my plan since I can overanalyze too much and I don't want to go through that phase again.

On a side note, I think I need some kind of probiotic or something like that because my stomach has been acting up for the past few days.

Edit - I took my second dose a while ago so I was just posting. My diet really sucked today, but I'll make up for it tomorrow/later on today.

I am going to workout on Saturday instead of today since my diet will really end up sucking bad today. I really should have went to the store last night, but I was too burned out to get my lazy ass up. This shouldn't pose a problem at all, so it is better to reschedule my workout than to completely miss it, IMO.

I hit the gym on Saturday but I didn't have my workout log with me. Since I have to workout on Monday I didn't go in there and destroy myself, but I did work up a nice pump. I felt stronger today and I did notice some increases on my lifts. Sorry for the "crappy" update, but I'll bring my workout log next time.

Chest/triceps/shoulders/traps today ladies and gentleman.

Incline BB Bench Press 105x8x2 105x2 I decided to go with incline over flat because I seem to feel it more in my chest.

Flat DB Bench Press 30x8x2 30x7 *superset* DB Flyes 20x8 20x4  20x6  x2

Tricep Pushdowns 40x8x3 (my machine weight is off but I decided to include the weight anyway)

Overhead DB Extensions 35x8x2 These ****s really killed my triceps

Face pulls (tried these out after looking at Deserusan's log) 50x8x3 The machine at work isn't set high enough to do these properly.

DB lateral raise 25x8x3 *superset* DB shrugs 40x8x2  My hands hit failure since I didn't have my gloves on lol.

Notes for today....I've been able to hit more reps even if I think I am at failure, which is good because I used to quit at the slightest sign of failure. I also noticed some crazy vascularity today which is always a good thing. My chest was pumped today too (I haven't had a chest pump in ages). All in all this was a great workout. :)

After my success with pro biotics, I'll likely try more digestive enzymes and similar products in the future to aid in my appetite and digestion. Us being naturally smaller guys it's tougher than many realize even get enough kcals to maintain weight, let alone t gain it.---I'm excited though cuz the larger I get the better I look due to me having TINY joints.

Anyway, days that I hang out late with friends are the days I eat the most, dont be afraid to eat "unhealthy" food if you have an ecto-meso or plain ecto bodytype.

thats how it is with me becuse most bb'ers and "big guys" in the gym were the guys that were like 160-200lbs in highschool and i was 117lbs. But when I was bb'ing at 173lbs I heard/saw some guys come back stage and say, "oh he isnt that big, he looks alot bigger on stage."

Light back and heavy biceps today.

Wide-grip lat pulldowns 110x8x2 *I felt pretty strong doing these today :)
Barbell Rows 115x8x2 I lowered the weight because my form was **** last time I did these

Barbell Curls (e-z curl bar used only weight counted) 40x8x2
Incline Hammer Curls 25x6x2 (damn right arm was fatigued like a mofo again)
Chins (done with an olympic bar in a smith machine rack & 5 second negatives) BWx6 I hit failure pretty quick but damn I had a crazy pump and nice vascularity.

Notes: Due to my bodyweight and my current split this log will be 40 days. Nothing really to report at all but I do feel like my strength is coming back a lot sooner than I expected. :)
