Was totally blown away by SteelEdge today as I mentioned in the tester thread. Definitly felt an increase in energy almost right after finishing my first serving. Focus was great in the gym today as well as well as my endurance. Usually I only do shoulders on their own day but today was able to do triceps as well while even throwing in a couple extra sets for shoulders. Was extremely surprised with the energy and endurance I had today only aftfer the first serving. After a long week of work it was definitly needed.
Laughed to myself on the way to the gym because having only used BA before with a White Flood sample, I was not used to the tingly feeling. Was kind of irretated with it at first because I wasn't quite sure what was happening. I thought I got burned or something because I work outside and maybe having the air conditioner on was making my skin feel weird. Half way there I realized what was going on. So far so good!

The postWO prickling was not as intense as the preWO but was still there none the less. I made a mental note for kicks and found that for about 45 minutes after taking the second dose I could still feel the tingling in my hands. Seemed to be just the hands though, preWO was hands, arms, and different areas around my face. Interesting stuff this BA ;).

You definitly hit the nail on the head there. I took 6 caps this morning with breakfast about an hour ago. The tingling is driving me crazyyyyyy haha, but a good crazy. Feelin it in the hands, arms, cheeks, ears, among others. I'm rubbing my hands together like a heroin-addict over here ;). I was actually thinking that I wish I had a workout to go do now!

When I first started taking BA, I got tingles really hard in my hands and around the outside of my ears, haha. Those were the only places that really tingled though. I dont really get tingles at all anymore, I guess I'm used to it now. However, when I used to get them, I always took my off day servings with food and I would get no tingles at all.

Remember a serving size is 3 caps and will prickle much less than taking 6 caps at one time. :eek:

Thanks bro, it's kind of a bad comparison because rigth after I hurt my rotator cuff pretty bad and coudn't even lift for 6 weeks and gained another 5 pounds on top of that I think. January/February were tough tough months in the weight room that is for sure.

Haha, I'm loving the Uncle Buck love. I don't have a copy of it either, but I'm sure you can find it real cheap. It used to be on t.v. a couple times a year, don't see it much anymore sadly.

I was planning on doing just back, but at the end I didn't want to "waste" the extra energy so I quickly added forearms. I'm noticing a huge increase in fullness and muscle hardness as well. This is especially true in my arms and shoulder, if only it would help the stomach lol. Still feeling very tingly afetr 3 caps, before and after workouts. Lasts for almost my entire workout. I'm definitly getting used to the feeling and don't mind it as much. That's about it. Legs tomorrow and will definitly be hitting those squats hard.

Damn dude tell me about it. High reps for me would be in the 8-10 rep range though haha. Once I did 225lbsX3X8 a couple weeks back. Sweating like I just ran a damn marathon. I would much rather stick to something like 275lbsX3X3.

Today's workout kicked my ass. I added some calf work in there at the end. Was sweating a ton during today's workout. I think I'm starting to notice soem strength improvements as well as I hit two PR's today in squats and OLLP. I had a little knee pain in my last couple sets of squats and my first set of OLLP but by the second set it was all gone. I might not have warm-up enough, right now it feels fine and felt great the rest of the workout. Focus was incredible once again. I don't remember much of what I was really thinking about in the gym as I was working out so that is a good sign haha. Only remember thinking the knee pain sucked haha. Still getting the tingly feeling with every dose of IXL, my preworkout dose gave me some cool tingles all over the back of my neck which is new. As I type right now I'm kind of getting it again from the second dose. Always notice it around my cheeks and jawline first which is interesting. So yeah, focus and endurance great again and like I said before, seems as though strength is going up a bit. Will know better after chest and triceps tomorrow! 90's on flat bench have me excited as hell haha.

Thanks bro. OLLP's are treatin me nice I must say. I've moved up pretty fast with them I have to say. Started around 120lbs and now am at 200lbs in just a couple weeks. I'm pretty sure I'm good in adding the G and C. I was thinking about it. I think it was just that I had a bad warm up, I work in a cold pool all day and don't think the legs were warmed up enough yet.

Great job. In regards to your last paragraph regarding fat loss, this certainly occurred in many of our testers logs, verified by before and after pics. The reason why, is unknown. It could be many things to increased workout volume, burning calories to the role of pH in fatty acid metabolism. :)
On top of the anecdotal fat loss feedback with IntraXCell, there was a beta-alanine study done comparing creatine vs creatine+beta-alanine. The creatine only group lost not body fat, but the creatine+beta-alanine group did. We just need to figure out how. :)

Haha I have found that as well. I'm adding a couple extra sets here and there and a body part here and there. It's awesome. Only thing I did was add one or two ab workouts in this week (I usually never do abs ).

Okay life can continue as it was before last Sunday lol. Craziest 5 days I can remember. Two 12 page essays and a final exam all fit into those 5 days and all I did was sleep, work, and then go to the library. ****ty but the feeling of being done is great! Hit it hard back in the gym today. No more tingly feeling before or after workouts anymore, but it's funny I can kind of feel it after a shower or when I get out of the jacuzzi. Hats of to this combo in the endurance tempartment. No matter how I'm feeling after work, I can go forever in the gym. The locker room was a little busy so I had no problem going out and busting a couple extra sets of chest while I waited. My volume is as high as ever and numbers are the same or higher. I love it. Strength increases are beginning to show through as well. 155lbs on incline press is AWESOME for me haha, especially after hitting flat DB first. Almost a PR but not quite. I continue to lose fat it seems, even though I gained a pound this week, whoa! Can't wait to take the after pics.

Today's workout felt great. Didn't get as many reps as I would have liked to at 275lbs but it was a long day at work and my body was a little worn down as it was. Intensity was real high throughout my workout and was sweating like a madman again today. OLLP is one of my favourite excercises right now and have to force myself not to put the weight too high cause it causes some pain in my hip. Felt a little tingly today and once again endurance is through the roof.

I'm going to write a review on SteelEdge possibly tonight, and really I would recommend this product to anyone looking for increased endurance and focus. Shoulders and biceps will be hit in about 20 minutes :). Has anyone tried the new CORE ABC yet? I know it just came out, but hmmmm, I've been contemplating getting that as well.

Well decided to get on the SizeON again for some extra GFH lol. Today's workout was real good, intensity was high and focus was great once again. It's funny I'll have my IPOD on and then finally click back in and wonder why I'm listening to the song I am. That happened a couple times today actually. Or it'll be at a part in the song which I usually get bored of and question why I didn't change it earlier. Just stuff like that which shows focus is quite intense on each set. Also, no complaints in the endurance department. Added an extra set to both DB Shoulder Press and DB Lateral Raises. Hit a PR on Shoulder Press today, gettin the 75lbs up 6 times, besting my previous best by an extra rep. Soild considering it was on the extra set. Good workout and am getting excited with the strength increases coming on gradually. It was said that it could take a couple weeks to really feel the affect and I think were at that point. Should make for an interesting next couple weeks. Hope switching to SizeOn is fine, was on mono the last couple weeks, if not, just let me know ;).

Meh, I still have trouble feeling comfortable but it's going better. I've been working with my trainer from HS and it's almost straightened out. I have been able to squat some but the weight is definitely lacking at this time:( Hope it gets back up in the coming months to come.

Before I leave, just want to say DOMS is pretty high in the hamstrings and moderate in the biceps. Also, got a couple of my friends to get some IXL today. They are pretty serious lifters, though I NEVER work out with them or see them at the gym, but they do go. IXL is catching on haha.
Back tonight, was planning on the deadlifts but hamstrings just aren't feeling it. It's my fourth day in a row at the gym to catch up for some missed workout earlier last week. Haven't gone four days in a row to the gym in about two years (serious), for weigths atleast. This will be a good test to see how intensity, strength, and endurance are being affected :).

Today was really a great workout. Hit all the numbers I wanted to and had increases in both forearms excercises and near PR's in both Cable Pulldowns and BB Rows. Felt really strong throught the whole workout. Pull-up are starting to feel easy....never thought I'de say that lol. I'm thinking about either getting a belt so I can hang some weight off me or putting a DB between my legs, either way a little more resistence is needed. Was surprised with my pre-workout serving of IXL. Had some insane tingles throught out my entire body. Arms, face, shoulders, back, all were feeling it today which has been pretty uncommon the rest of the week and even after the second serving today. I can definitly feel some of the strength benefits starting to come on throughout the entire week. This is pretty exciting with still half a bottle to go. Diet has been fairly good, lol, which I guess is a nice way to say it could be better. Seriously though it hasn't been too bad, haven't missed a meal since I can remember and clean for the most part. In the past I have become a victim of over doing it when bulking and basically eat whatever I want when I want, but this time around I have been trying to stick to as clean as possible. Today though I found this Almond Blueberry flake cereal my dad picked up and just couldn't let it go.
Another thing, I have been talking with a few people and I think I'm going to compete next spring/summer. I don't care how big I come in, I just really want to try it. Gains have been coming a long great and I just want to keep on going, keep improving. It's still a while away so that's all I can really say about that.
Lastly, had a little exciting weigh in at the gym today. I haven't been able to weigh myself since starting this log because of major construction going on at my gym (which SexyBack can attest to ;)) and they moved all the scales to make room for the workers in the change room. Finally they had them up and weighed myself the last two days. Noticed I have gained six pounds since the start of this log about 3 weeks ago, with minimal fat gain My abs look about the same, but I guess that is what pictures will be for. I'm at 195lbs right now, and started at 188.9lbs. So I was pretty pleased about that.

Thanks Chris. The fat is minimal, but of course it's there. I think the hardest part going to 220lbs will be losing some of the cuts I have recently acquired. It will be so much better in the long run just going on a serious bulk though, then worrying about it 16-18 weeks out from the comp lol.
Now if only I knew a place that listed comps in Southern Ontario....google is useless!

.....three out of my last five workouts I've seen couples figthing in the weight room. lol, how ackward is this? Always older couples to so not any teen drama crap like that. The other day the gym wasn't too busy but I'm sure the rest of the people along with me were wondering why they chose the weight room to air these grievances. It's just funny to see people arguing like no one else is around and I wonder what is going through these peoples heads. I see them at the gym a lot to and recognize them so I'm sure a lot of others do as well. The most annoying thing though is these guys usually take over a piece of equipment, like yesterday they were sitting on one of the bench presses. No one needed it but common....anyway, just felt like sharing that. Just odd to see this three different times in the same week!

Some people have no sense. At my old gym a lot of stuff went down. One thing that bothered me the most was this woman who came in to do cardio on the elliptical. She very obviously had an eating disorder. I don't think I ever saw anyone as thin as her. She was so skinny that you could see her butt bone poke out of her. It was sick and she would stay on the elliptical for an hour. No one ever said anything, but plenty of people stared.

I used to love calf excercises but I probably hate them the most these days. Other than that nothing too much to talk about, just that strength is definitly increasing. I'm going to take pictures Friday for the transformation contest and I'll throw them up here as well.
Congrads on the PR's, very impressed with your progress so far. I noticed you are doing one legged calf raises, if you haven't already tried, one legged leg presses, extensions and curls, are a great change as well.

Thanks boss! Today was my first time doign the one legged calf raises, I hated it, but like I said I hate all calf movements. The damn things just wont grow haha, atleast not liek I would like them to. I'm a huge fan of the one-legged leg presses though, just felt like switiching it up a bit and seeing what I could do with the two legged press today.

I'm about half way through this log and just want to thank everyone who has stopped in to show support. A lot of you guys and gals continue to be a great source of motivation for me, whether it be from your comments after a workout, or just stopping by to chat. It's been great to have everyone following my progress and also to see some awesome logs with motivated people like myself stepping it up and killing it every workout. I find myself very lucky to be able to use this site as a tool and also to meet and interact with some great people as well. So for this I thank everyone :).
Also special thanks to AEN, who have done a great job answering all my questions and PM's on a week to week basis. Even though I'm logging for you guys, you have truly made me feel like as if you are working for me, and that is the definition of a solid company right there. Will be an AEN supporter for life and would recommend these products to anyone.
Lastly, it's great to see all of us "young people" doing something different then what may be the norm for most our age. We're researching and learning different ways to improve everyday and have the determination and motivation to change ourselves for the better. Awwwww, I almost shed a tear. That was very sweet. That's the one thing that keeps me coming back to this site. The continued support of those that honestly care about you and your goals. In the "real world" almost everyone around me could give two ****z about working out or getting fit. Only support I have is my hubby and he's great. He's been there every step of the way. Didn't care what I looked like at my heaviest and loves me all the same now I am thinner. Have a great day off. You deserve it.

Thought I'de post the pics up in here so I can link it to the wildcard thread. Not too bad, pretty pleased with this progress, starting point was 198lbs, right now around 194lbs. Wore the lucky baby blue shorts haha. And yes I got shoes to match! (serious). Couple back pics are a little lopsided haha, but I only had one chance for these and was hard to get the right angle, think I did pretty good tho :). Left is new, right is old, hopefully that goes without saying.

Thanks buddy! I'm happy with the fact that I'm only down about 4 pounds at the end of this "cut". Was a long three months, but I look forward to GFH in the coming months, along with my fellow transformers haha.
